We were greeted by Reva, who was very friendly and very kindly upgraded our room to a king-size bedroom on a high floor. It's true the hotel is feeling tired and does have a few issues...wonky toilet, very difficult to get a good water temperature in shower, cleaning isn't top but passable, and yes there is a smell of aged fittings and carpets perhaps. But rooms are spacious and location is great.... if you want space and location and can accept the age issues it's actually a great option. It does the job!

The atmosphere was relaxing, the rooms were spotless, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. One of the highlights was the pop-up chocolate-making booth, where Winnie and Mae guided us through the process with such warmth and expertise. It was a fun and unique experience that made our celebration even more memorable. Thank you to the entire team for a fantastic stay—I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Isn't it funny how this hotel ONLY reply to good reviews. Seems they don't like negative criticism. Well, here goes. My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in January 2025. We couldn't check into our room before 3pm, so we're given a temporary room. This room absolutely stank of drains. There were little black flies everywhere. We decided we would put up with this as it was only for 2 nights. The hotel never came to our room to clean or replace the towels. The staff are rude, especially the lobby porters and a tall guy in the reception area with a defective ear. He was plain ignorant! The location of this hotel was the only possible positive that I could give.

Went for a conference there. Conference room was spacious and well maintained. Service was impeccable and the location requires no further elaboration. Smacked right in the heart of Chinatown and conveniently served by the Downtown line and North East line with 2 stations Clarke Quay and Chinatown within walking distance, and with the pricing, what more can I ask for?

We had a lovely breakfast buffet at Furama City Center Hotel. Alice and Ivy are really nice. Alice was kind enough to share her time in assisting us during breakfast. She was smiling and accommodating to us. My husband and I had such a lovely time. Highly recommended. Staff are all nice and helpful. Place is also clean with the right price.
