We stayed for 5 nights in November, and had connecting rooms which was so good for our family as we had 2 bathrooms. The rooms were spacious with plenty of room. We did have problems with the shower temperature being either cold or very hot. We had breakfast included and it was really good with a huge variety. The staff were helpful and friendly and the location of the hotel in Chinatown was great Unfortunately the hotel is very dated with a musty smell in the hallways and room, the air-conditioning was incredibly noisy and we had to turn it off to be able to sleep.

Great location, very nice staff, awful rooms. The pictures posted on their own website and other trip apps/websites do not represent what we got. Rooms were horrible, so humid, deep mood smell. I had to move the bed against the opposite wall because the air conditioner hit me directly in the face. Plus, since the room had no ventilation, the air conditioner kept the bed sheets very moist. The location is great, right in front of China Town and a tourist bus Stop.

The hotel’s accommodations are of a basic nature, meeting only the most basic standards. However, its location is its true strength. The club lounge facilities are of average quality, and the food is also of average quality, with a limited selection of dishes. The service is acceptable, with Ivy & Ray providing us with exemplary service.

Check-In: 01DEC2024 Check-Out: 05DEC2024 Room: 0719 Furama Hotel @City Center Singapore is falsely rated as a 4-star hotel. In reality, it feels more like a 2-star property. From the moment you step in, the entire building, including the entrance, lobby, corridors, and rooms, is plagued by a pervasive musty odor. The room rates are extremely expensive, which is unjustified given the poor conditions and services provided. Here are the key issues: 1. The entire hotel has a noticeable musty smell. 2. Room and bathroom amenities are very basic and of the lowest quality. 3. The bathrooms are unclean and poorly maintained. 4. Housekeeping only cleans the rooms after a three-night stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not worth the price. While the location is decent and centrally located, its proximity to public transportation is not a unique advantage, as most hotels in Singapore are well-connected due to the city’s excellent public transport system.
