The hotel is a bit dated but still in overall good condition. The location is convenient: it’s about a 15-minute walk to the city center, and the path is easily walkable by Vietnamese standards. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and offers a wide variety of dishes. The pool is rather small and usually quite crowded. However, there are plenty of sun loungers available on the beach, so it’s easier to find a spot there. Now to the biggest downside: the service and the staff. When I book a 5-star hotel, I expect not just good facilities but also excellent service — and unfortunately, Furama does not deliver. The staff seemed disinterested and poorly trained in guest service. At the pool and beach, there is practically no service at all: the bar is hidden away, and no one actively serves guests. Orders are placed online via QR code, after which you wait about 45 to 60 minutes for your drink — which costs 3 to 5 times more than at bars on My Khe Beach. Even after following up, it takes another 20 minutes to get your order. The front desk staff also appeared indifferent and unhelpful. I probably had different expectations — namely a true 5-star service, which was unfortunately missing here. It’s a shame because good service is more important to me than luxurious facilities — which, as mentioned, are already a bit outdated. For the price, there are definitely better hotels in Vietnam. Therefore, I cannot recommend the Furama.

Perfect hotel! Spacious and clean room. All the food was very delicious. We were full board and enjoyed every meal and drink there. The staff was very helpful, though their english could be a bit better :). Special mention to the guys at the 3 bars - all cocktails were really top notch! The beach is huge and clean. The whole campus is incredibly green - something most big hotels are missing. We loved our stay at Furama - definitely recommend!

Almost perfect. One of the best hotels I have stayed in after 40 years of global travel. THE GOOD: The design, art and architecture and location - world class. So is service. Giri the well-being guru- top-notch.....and his service was free! Absolutely love the idea of a small nearby farm for growing the food for the restaurant. large beds with very comfortable mattresses are much appreciated. THE NOT GOOD: The floors have little sound insulation - we could hear each footstep from above. The wooden slats on the "shade-doors" are just not good at keeping out the early morning light. Needs proper blackout curtains. The sound of the nearby cockerels at 4am, 5 am, 6am.... I want to sleep then ! Overall - the positives outweigh the negatives by a long way.

This was our family's splurge after a hard year....and I must say it did not disappoint. Furama was a calm, quaint oasis in the midst of hectic Da Nang. I love being able to take a short walk to the beach and not having to worry about crossing a busy road in my swim wear!! We had the 3 bedroom villa and it was HUGE, very clean with all the amenities we need and our own little pool. The beach and ocean were very clean. We stayed mostly in the Villas section which felt pretty secluded. The Resort section has a much grander lobby over looking the ocean but also busier than the Villas section. Breakfast buffet was the best out of all the 5 star hotels I stayed at during this trip. The staffs were top notched. They even remembered my dad's love for plain congee and made sure they had plain congee for him even on a day they served brown rice congee...how thoughtful is that! I wish I could stay longer.

This resort was like being in an oasis of heaven! The beach was there outside of your room. If you like to workout, the gym was fantastic. The breakfast buffet had everything you needed to start your day in Hanoi. So if you are looking for a place to stay without even leaving the premises than this hotel is your spot to visit.
