Stayed at the hotel with my 13 year old son, reception staff not friendly the bar staff at the pool bar very grumpy, staff in the dining room are very nice and helpful, the cleaner's are brilliant very friendly and helpful. The hotel it's self well the snack bar doesn't open till the same time as the dinner at 12:30. So if you want a snack in-between breakfast and lunch you can't.No ice-cream for kids unless in dinning room at dinner and tea. If it is raining there is nothing for the kids to do in the hotel. Would definitely not stay here again.

So I’ve just come to the end of a 2 week stay in the grand ideal premier and I’ll be totally honest with my review. On first impressions it’s a lovely hotel it’s clean and pretty modern compared to other hotels in close vicinity. The pool area is very disorganised with people placing sunbeds all over the place and if you want a bed near to the pool bar side (sun all day) you need to be waking up and getting your towels down for 5.30 otherwise you’ll be on the other side of the pool which hits the shade about 3.30. The pool itself is pretty clean although I only saw the pool guy redo the chlorine once in the 2 weeks. The food is really good considering it’s a buffet style menu all food was warm and replaced regularly the grill outside was the place for about 5 different chicken flavour types and jacket spuds throughout the week. Waiters/Waitresses were by far the friendliest staff in the hotel and always had a smile for you. The Rep we had was a guy named “Joe” he wasn’t much help to me or my family but we’ve been Marmaris on quite a few occasions so know what to expect so he probably will be more helpful to those who are unsure or first timers to Marmaris, he did try and sell me excursions but when I told him I had my own contacts his persona turned quite cold. I had a Turkish bath and a deep muscle massage in the hotel spa which was great just be sure to haggle the original price as talking to other guests the prices seemed to fluctuate somewhat. The rooms are adequate in size I was on the 3rd floor over looking the pool the beds are comfortable and firm however wardrobe space is lacking. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours going toilet throughout the night. The air con we had was decent too. Clean lips is clearly a big thing for the hotel however to receive a snooty letter threatening us to be charged for laundry as my child had spilt a bit of Pepsi on his bed cover seemed a little overzealous. The maids don’t seem to have a set timetable and can show up at anytime of the day. We had our room set on to made up all day and when my wife went to the room to rest (about 3pm) they hadn’t been this then led to it becoming over 3 days since the last clean and again they sent another little letter so try and make sure you are up and awake early to avoid this. The location of the hotel is great and many shops, bars, restaurants are easily accessible by a short walk or taxi/dolmus-bus. All in all I would stay there again and for the price we paid it was well worth it.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Can't rate my stay high enough. Free aircon and safe. Food was very good. If you couldn't find something to eat from the range for breakfast , lunch snd dinner then there's a problem. Very quick to get help for you ( I couldn't work the aircon at first 🙄 ) The only slight annoyance was one of the girls serving at the pool bar, no matter how hard I tried she was just never pleasant, not a very nice attitude compared to the rest of the hotel staff ( this was every day for a week not just one day ) Though this was minor compared to standards in the hotel . Amazing

Just come back from this hotel with my family of nine grandchildren. This hotel is absolutely fantastic in the prime area food excellent so many areas to sit down coffee areas mocha areas great kids area cleaning staff for excellent I Was on the second floor room 217 cleaning staff always was polite and clean the rooms very good tiles change bedding changed I found most of the staff to be very friendly specially in the dining room area. English manager was excellent. Done everything to help you while we was out there we booked to come back in June 28 next year The only thing I didn’t like about the pool area was the baby pool There’s a fence that goes round I thought that was too close to the sunbeds not giving people enough space to walk-through always constantly having to move for other people. Maybe this needs to be looked at but that is the only thing I can about this Hotel, I believe it’s not the hotel’s fault. It’s just badly designed all in all my family had a great time out here excellent.

Absolutely lovely hotel, only big gripes is the room/bed sizes, the rooms are tiny, we got moved twice to different rooms but still extremely small, as were the beds! So pre warning if you’re a larger person. We ended up upgrading to a suite at £25 extra per night just to get room to move. Another gripe is the entertainment, if you can even call it that. However apart from that, the food was incredible, not a single complaint about any of the food on offer, as well as the drinks, especially having iced coffees included on all inclusive! The pool is also extremely large however it is one solid depth the whole way round which my child struggled with as there’s no shallow to deep end it’s just 150cm everywhere. The hotel was always spotless! The location is also great, few mins walks to the beach and also shops galore everywhere!!! Over all we were sad to leave and enjoyed this holiday!! We would recommend it but just be mindful of the bedroom and bed sizes.
