I highly recommend this hotel! The staff were truly exceptional, going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The location is perfect, with easy access to the Old Town via the hotel's shuttle or a leisurely walk to nearby shops. The hotel offers all the necessary amenities, although we did miss having tea in our room—a local custom we soon discovered. However, the staff kindly provided a kettle, and we were able to pick up tea bags from a nearby shop. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Since the moment we arrived to this property, it does not feel at all like a 5 star property given it’s management , staff and hospitality. For started the view you will get for resort view room will be parking lot with staff cutting trees and machines making noises. Then on top of that the carpet in the room was not pasted so my 2 year old kept on falling and on requesting to fix it they said sorry it is like this only as it is new. Then room was full of ants and as a courtesy when they placed cake for my daughter’s birthday on our room, they don’t even have that much sense that they cover it will lid which made all our room filled with even more ants.. list continues with no warm reception, poor breakfast, no choice of better coffee etc.. k would definitely avoid this chain in future..

Beautiful resort. They have villas and rooms. The villas have a kitchen setup and room arr like regular hotel room with mini fridge and coffee. Several restaurants on the property so you don't have to leave. Near by is Old Town and New Town Albufeira and a shuttle service to take you there. Lastly the people....the best customer service especially the front desk.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a few days, and it was a complete disappointment. I still don’t understand how this hotel claims to have 5 stars. There were long lines for breakfast, the food was monotonous and not very tasty, and there was no tea available—neither in the dining area nor in the room. There was nothing to do, no activities offered (for comparison, a lower-class hotel we stayed at had yoga, stretching, and more every morning). The tennis court was in terrible condition, covered in sand, making it easy to slip and get injured. One of the reasons we chose this place was to play tennis, but we had to give up on that. At the spa, they made us buy swim caps to enter the pool—this was a first for me, and especially strange for a supposed 5-star hotel. The saunas weren’t working, so apart from the pool, there was nothing else to do. We came for my birthday, but the staff completely forgot about it. After my husband reminded them, they brought some awful champagne instead of a cake. Only one restaurant on the property was open, and the prices were unjustifiably high (110 euros for grilled sea bass is just too much). In the most expensive room, the TV was the size of a tablet, so we couldn’t even enjoy a movie in the evenings. Overall, we left feeling disappointed and frustrated instead of relaxed. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just back from 7 days at Grande Real Santa Eulalia. We're so glad we didn't take any notice of some of the bad reviews. From the moment of arrival, we were greeted with courtesy and excellent service. All staff are doing an excellent job, they all should be very proud of this place. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and well equipped. We stayed in a double room with sea views, not regrets in paying extra for sea views, we will do it again. Breakfast is excellent, probably one of the best breakfasts we have ever experienced in any hotel we previously stayed. Evening meals were a la carte, again food of good quality,we're vegetarian, and was very good to be able to have fresh fish served every evening. The hotel location is perfect, right on the beach, and not far from shops and restaurants. The shuttle service to old town is very convenient, we used the bus several times and would come back to the hotel in the evening using Uber. We did not have the time to use the spa facilities. the weather was too glorious to be indoors. There are 2 x big swimming pools and 1 x children pool in the hotel area. Also, there are swimming pools available by the apartments sides. Again thank you very much to all the staff who work at the hotel, you're doing an amazing job. We're looking forward to going back again soon.
