Awesome IHG resort near Central Phuket. Convenient location and really a great property. My review reflects the villa suites which are fantastic: large rooms, balcony or direct pool access, beautifully decorated (really all of the resort is aesthetically pleasing). Facilities are all great including gym and pools. Breakfast buffet was great. No complaints at all. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

One of the nicest hotels I’ve been to (I’ve been to 5* hotels), what makes it excellent is the service.
I’ve been to 5* hotels which does not have as good hospitality. As soon as they saw me come out of my cab, they couriered my luggage and got me a room in under a minute.
The room itself was very comfortable, and the underwater pool/bar was very cool.
The staff themselves were very friendly and took time to talk to all the guests, which created a very friendly vibe.
The gym was ok, been to hotels with more equipment, but overall atmosphere of this hotel was excellent. 5* service
The hotel was close to Thai food street markets which served delicious local dishes

I am normally NOT a fan of Holiday Inn chain hotels, they tend to be bland and repetitive, but this is the best that I have ever visited.
The location is perfect: close enough to the Patong attractions, beach and clubs etc., but not so close to be noisy.
The breakfast buffet is huge and varied. The roadside cafe/bar is quirky, well-shaded, and allows you to sit in beach-wear, watch the non-residents passing by at close quarter, and who are free to join you for a cocktail.
There are some fine-dining places indoors with excellent ambience.

Hotel was perfect. Stuff was friedly and very helpful, favour. Rooms were very very clean. Location gets 5 stars from us. We made our reservation on booking. Before we go, we contacted hotel to help us about the island tours and tour desk emailed us with the options immediately. We want to send a special thanks to Milky who helped us to decide which tours we really want. She is very professional and her suggestions was very valuable. We are very glad to stayed at holiday inn and met the Milky. She helped to be our holiday unforgottable. 🤍

The employee at the reception needs to get trained on how to welcome people instead of being grumpy and having an attitude. I recommend they take lessons from Four Points By Sheraton hotel.
I came for a holiday to have fun, not to ruin it because someone isn’t doing their work properly. Because of the attitude, I immediately left the hotel as I don’t have the time or the will to entertain this.

Dear Natalia,
Thank you for your response. However, I must address the inaccuracies in your explanation.
During check in, I attempted to pay using two cards that had sufficient funds, but your payment terminal, which was visibly taped and appeared damaged, failed to process the payment. This issue was not due to my card but rather your faulty equipment.
While I could have withdrawn cash from an ATM as an alternative, I chose not to proceed because of the unacceptable attitude displayed by your reception staff. The employee was unprofessional and grumpy, making us feel unwelcome and as though we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests.
I strongly urge you to take this feedback seriously, train your staff to provide better customer service, and ensure your payment systems are fully functional. Guests come to your resort to relax, not to deal with avoidable inconveniences.
I hope you make the necessary improvements to prevent this from happening to others.
Best regards,
Tareq
