We stayed at RIU Palace in November for our honeymoon and had the most wonderful stay we did not want to return home . Staff are so friendly and work so hard - our favourite waiter was John he always went above and beyond and always had a smile on his face. Really great that allergens were clearly labelled and I was provided with a card for my allergies and dietary requirements. My only criticism is that there needs to be better vegan options in both main hotel and the restaurants - it was very limited and became boring quickly.

Great All-In place to stay! Excellent food with big choices for everyone and drinks (Here we Recommend to go for Elite Club). New renovated rooms and facilities. During our stay now Very honestly (!) friendly staff from reception, restaurants til room cleaning. You can see that management is reacting on complaints here and tacking good care of hotel and people! Also we saw fast reaction on our feedbacks. We where in many countries in many different hotels. Here we are very happy spending whole week. Hotel beach is quite windy and most of time windy because of geography but there different places to go and stay independent from weather! Negative recensions are maybe from people who did not booked Elite Club ore did not compared prices for hotels and packages in Mauritius (!!!) ore had bad luck ore bad mood…

Our stay was perfect, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service, especially from Vikish. He was always available and eager to help us with everything, whether it was answering questions about the hotel or assisting with a personal issue we had. His support made a big difference in our experience.
The hotel’s facilities are outstanding—everything is modern, new, and well-organized. The hotel app was incredibly useful, allowing us to easily book dinners at the specialty restaurants and stay updated on the daily activities.
The buffet restaurant offered a great variety of dishes, and visiting the spa was definitely a highlight of our trip.
I also celebrated my birthday during our stay, and the hotel went out of their way to make it a memorable occasion.

I had a wonderful honeymoon, and everything went smoothly regarding the room and services. The food was really good, which added to the experience. However, we couldn’t enjoy kayaking or pedalo as the area is quite windy. Also, the air conditioning was a bit slow to cool the room, but overall, it was a great stay.

The few things that let this otherwise good hotel down are: Smoking is permitted outside around the pool and in the bars. Most places in the world recognise passive smoking is as bad as smoking yet Mauritius and Riu are not in agreement. The coffee! For the amount you pay for the rooms it's not much to expect - please provide something other than instant coffee in the rooms and at the breakfast! As a none drinker at an all inclusive, I realised this would be challenging but Heineken Zero is the only token choice of AF beer which at best tastes like dish soap! They do have some alcohol free cocktails but some more selections of both alcohol free wine and beer would make this resort more inclusive.
