Excellent All-Inclusive Option for Families, but Service Can Be Inconsistent Hotel Riu Turquoise is a truly excellent beachfront property with a lovely private beach area. The all-inclusive package is generous, covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and a few basic water sports (like paddle boats). Guests also get access to the hammam and plunge pool in the spa, which is a nice perk. The hotel has great facilities for all ages, including multiple swimming pools, 3-4 restaurants, a spa, and a travel desk. For families, the small RIU Land water park is a fantastic addition. Water sports enthusiasts will appreciate the dedicated area for activities like kite surfing. Sea facing rooms are well equipped if not the best. Logistics & Dining: * Check-in and Check-out were both smooth, and there is ample covered parking. * Dining: The main restaurant, La Goulette, offers excellent world cuisine and does not require a reservation. The specialty restaurants, like Bangalore (Indian cuisine) and the Steakhouse, require prior reservation via the RIU app, so plan ahead! * Location Note: Be aware that Google Maps often leads to the adjacent RIU Palace (the adults-only property) instead of the family-friendly RIU Turquoise, though both are right next to each other. Areas for Improvement: While the overall experience was good, a few things could be improved to match other similar 4-star properties: * Beach Cleanliness: We did not observe staff routinely combing the beach or cleaning the sunbeds early in the morning, which resulted in the beach feeling not as pristine as other resorts we have visited. * Staff Engagement: Some service staff seemed to be mechanically performing their jobs and occasionally appeared disinterested when approached for assistance. A bit more warmth and proactivity would elevate the service significantly. Despite these minor points, the Riu Turquoise offers an attractive all-inclusive package in a beautiful location. I would recommend it, especially for a family holiday.

Went there for a 2 night stay for my birthday and I really expected much more from a 4.1-star hotel. From the start, the experience was underwhelming. There was no welcoming drink upon arrival, and the receptionist was very cold and spoke way too fast, making check-in feel rushed and impersonal. We then waited almost 50 minutes for our luggage, and no one even bothered to accompany us to our room. I had requested a birthday decoration in advance, but to my disappointment, nothing was done. For a supposedly upscale hotel, this lack of attention to detail was really disheartening. Also, no dental kits were provided — how can a 4-star hotel miss such a basic amenity? And to top it off, at the Savanne Bar, I was served a cappuccino in a plastic cup just because I wanted to take it to my room. That felt unnecessarily cheap and unprofessional. To make things worse, every tap in the room had salty water, which not only made it impossible to brush our teeth properly but also irritated my skin condition badly. How is this acceptable in a 4.1-star property? Overall, the service and small details simply don’t match the hotel’s supposed standard. I left feeling disappointed and definitely won’t be returning. For a hotel that calls itself “4-star,” this level of service is a joke.

The hotel is approx 1:30 hour from airport. The Personal was very friendly with us and made us enjoy our days off. They have 3 swimming pools (one is for kids). They have kindergarten that we didn't try. The location is very windy, however it's acceptable. It's good for guys who are performing watersports. The food and drinks are very good nothing to complain. The hallway is very windy because they are saved some money not putting windows. They are cleaning the rooms daily basis.

We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Riu Turquoise for our honeymoon. From start to finish, everything was perfect – the service, the food, the drinks, and the overall atmosphere. The variety and quality of the food and cocktails were truly impressive. We especially loved the White Party, it was so much fun and created unforgettable memories. A very special thanks goes to Mr. Ravi and Keshav from the Gardening team. My wife lost her ring during our stay, and without any hesitation, they went above and beyond to help us find it. Their kindness and dedication meant so much to us, and we are truly grateful. We will always remember this experience and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

The resort was for the most part excellent. The fact that food and beverages are available 24/7, good food, daily entertainment and swimming facilities determines that. But I was really disappointed about the towels smelling musty/not in least bit fresh and clean. The day before my departure I paid particular attention to the bathroom not being cleaned in spite using the please make up room sign on door everyday. Hygiene is top on my priority list and that was a complete let down. We spent over 3k in South African rands for laundry. Complete waste, let alone exorbitantly priced, as I immediately rewashed clothes on arriving home, considering how towels smelled.
