We were for one week in September here and had the Similan Pearl Villa. The villa no. 110 is in a place with a lot of frequency of people. The view from the terrace is to the sea. In the night the light from the restaurant was shining in the bedroom because not all windows had curtains. The villa itself is OK and and was daily cleaned up. The service personell is very kind and try to help in most cases. A walk on the beach were only possible during low tide. The beach was full of plastic and construction rubble. The short beach is not inviting for nice beachwalks because is to short and along with building ruins. The breakfast buffet is in western and asian style. My personell "No Go" is the trash can beside the toilet for used toiletpaper. That because the bidet flushing was also not properly working. Under such circumstances we will not come back

We stayed in a private bungalow, so can't comment on the rooms, would have given 5 stars if I hadn't been stung lots of times by mosquitos while sleeping, and you couldn't leave a dirty glass out because it would be covered in ants. Pool area and beach is excellent, with plenty of sunbeds and parasols, although the hotel wasn't any where near full when we visited. Very polite and friendly staff

Spawning resort with beachfront. Spacious well equipped room with balcony. Nice pools affront sandy beach. Great for sunset view. Picturesque lighthouse accessible on foot at low tide. Nice restaurants and cocktail bar across the road

The hotel and rooms are beautiful, so is the pool and the sea view. The area is amazing and there is plenty to do nearby. However, the services in the hotel aren’t great. They say there is room service until 11PM but when you order after 10PM the kitchen is closed. The cleaning of the room isn’t great either. I would recommend improving these aspects of the service.

We stayed for 10 nights in mid May so at the end of high season and the start of rainy season. The rooms (we had an oriental villa) are spacious and comfortable with everything you could need, including a bag with towels for the pool/beach, umbrellas, fridge, complimentary bottled water each day, basic toiletries etc. The staff were great. Every one of them was friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Breakfast was open from 0630-1030 and had plenty of options. Cereal, toast, fruit, pancakes, eggs, thai food, omelettes and noodles cooked to order, hot european and cold continental options, and a drinks trolley for iced coffee etc. We were very happy with the quality and quantity on offer. Laguna Resort is towards the south end of Khao lak, but has plenty of bar and restaurant options nearby, with the central part 5-10 minutes walking distance and the area around Bang Niang Market a short cheap taxi ride away. We've thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.
