The Merlin Resort is an absolutely beautiful hotel to visit. - The staff are so lovely and welcoming from the luggage staff who greeted us everyday with a smile and so helpful looking after our bags on our last day. The servers and bar staff are amazing as well as everyone there in general greeting us and making us welcome at all points. - The bedrooms are lovely as well as beautiful views from the balcony. The only thing that let it down was our bathroom which needed some decorating. And sadly lots of small ants in the sink and crawling through the walls in the bathroom which didn't feel nice when it went in our bags or through our toiletries. - The food was amazing, you had the option from the buffet which has lovely choices each night. As well as the garden restaurant where you could order from a menu which was 5 star and so delicious. - The hotel was like a beautiful rainforest everyday and so relaxing. - There isn't much to do around the hotel but the trips they offer to book are incredible!! Thank you for such a lovely stay!!

Fantastic hotel with great amenities. I love the conservation which takes place here and the views are stunning. The staff are always happy and helpful. The rooms are clean and the laundry service is brilliant. There is a taxi point in the hotel who were great. They took us on our trip to Phuket Old Town Market as well as waiting and bringing us back, making this a great experience. There is a small town about a 5 minute walk from the hotel with shops, places to eat and a fantastic little bar called Sea Breeze. The hotel is in a great location for trips such as to the James Bond Island. Overall a fantastic place to stay and I am glad we chose this hotel.

Room is overlooked - supposed to be superior!! Air con is not the best and is noisy. Beach towels cannot be exchanged by the pool, so soggy towels to lug about, plus you have to return them to your room else you’ll be charge 400bht per. So been to better hotels this holiday. Staff are friendly, food is very lovely. Expensive for drinks but luckily some beach bars and street bars at 1/3 price. A huge site to navigate around and lacked signage to toilets Pools are lovely and kept clean

Absolutely magical lush green location to spend your holiday! The service is impeccable, the rooms are spacious and amenities abundant. We never came up short here. The Khao Lak region is a gorgeous place to explore and from the hotel there are dozens of exciting tours you can book. This was our second time here and I would not hesitate to book again. You’re also not bound to the resort per se, there’s a vibrant town with lots of bars and restaurants and even a Muay Thai gym a few hundred meters from the resort. If that’s not enough for you a 300 baht taxi ride away is Bang Niang with a night market and a lot of bars and restaurants. We had the garden pool access room this time. You basically have a private pool next to your room. There’s a couple other rooms that have access as well but it feels like it’s a private pool.

Wow what an amazing place. I am sure I am just adding to the already great reviews. I personally highly recommend. Something my wife did was book us for bed and breakfast this was a good idea there are plenty of restaurants close by within a short walking distance. Also there are a few along the beach too. Breakfast was very good at the hotel.
