We had the opportunity to stay at this hotel because we received an upgrade from the La Flora Hotel, which belongs to the same resort group. On top of that, we also received an all-inclusive package, which we really enjoyed! We are still so grateful for receiving that upgrade! Thank you for all that again. We really had an amazing stay here with you. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was always delicious. You could order everything, starting from international dishes all the way up to local Thai food. The beach itself was also really nice and clean. Only the water was not as clear as you might expect from other Thai beaches, but that is actually the only and really tiny disadvantage we had. So thanks again for everything, and we can highly recommend spending a vacation here.

La Vela is a gem.We spent 5 wonderful days and nights at this very beautiful upscale resort in January. The breakfast buffet was amazing, the best variety and quality of food we have ever had in Asia, bar none. Our deluxe ocean view suite was beautifully appointed and impeccably maintained. The sunset’s spectacular. This hotel is our most favorite new place in Thailand. Khao Lak is only 20 minutes farther drive from the airport than the overcrowded tourist areas in Phuket, but a world apart in terms of tranquility, relaxation and vacation rejuvenation. This resort is located in a Spectacular and uncrowded setting with tree covered mountains backing beautiful unspoiled endless beaches. A very special shoutout to JP for making our stay truly memorable and extraordinary. Sometimes the best measure of customer service is what happens when something goes amiss. You dealt with the issue quickly, and in a very kind and thoughtful manner to ensure our stay was a 5 star experience. We will never forget it. Fantastic hotel with incredible staff and facilities. The breakfast is brilliant and it's in great spot with a two minute walk from the beach. The spa and gym is great with plenty of things such as restaurants and shops nearby. The staff are lovely and are happy to help at all hours no matter the issue. A case in point was our room safe malfunctioning and the staff were very quick and efficient in resolving this in the late evening. The beds are comfy and the swim up rooms are spacious and well designed. Highly recommend stopping here if you want a fantastic stay in Khao Lak.

Same downfall as other Thailand hotels we stayed at... most of the staff don't speak English properly. It was frustrating. The hotel was incredible. The rooms were so big and the balcony jacuzzi was a win. The buffet was off the chart exceptional. It was definitely a family-orientated hotel, but with many pool options. It's a chilled hotel without a lot of vibe and energy. New Year was amazing there.

This was the best resort experience we have ever had. The food was off the charts good. We are still talking about it almost a year later. The resort is stunning and our room beautifully decorated and so spacious. The staff where exceptional! So many happy smiling welcoming faces it was so hard to leave. We have to come back for the incredible snorkelling on Surin and to stay again at our favourite resort ever.
