Room with shared private pool was amazing but bed was hard. All staff were really friendly. Food was great. Entertainment was OK but not wow. 5 min walk to the beach through the grounds of another hotel or they can take you down to the beach in golf cart. Reserved section of beach for Sandy Villas Hotel only. Beach Side pool was a nice touch, again for Sandy Villas customers only.

Beautiful and relaxing vacation! Nice and calm environment, always kind and professional personal, delicious food with lots of options, excellent desserts, evening programmes are great, evening with program “Jazz The Two Of Us” was breathtaking. The sea is beautiful, deck chair always available at sea, at swimming pool as well. Pool by the sea is awesome, again nice staff, excellent Prosecco. Everything just perfect, I recommend.

Definitely not a 5* hotel, don’t waste your money, lady at reception speaks only basic English and unfortunately nobody speaks German!! Unacceptable as well booked our stay from a German tour operator, you have to go through a different hotel to go to the beach and beach is crowded and you can’t even find space to sit!! Avoid avoid avoid !!!!!

Excellent service from start to finish from all the staff. Food always good quality with plenty of choice. Tried the Greek restaurant by the beach which was also good and a great place to see the sunset. The Italian restaurant was not as good but made a change. Our swim up room in block 300 didn't get any sunshine which maybe a bonus in August but a shame in Oct. The only other minor faults were towels are bit thin for 5 star and the TV had a habit of switching on a screensaver picture in the middle of the night! cured by un-plugging it. Otherwise all clean and tidy and a perfect place to relax.

Very impressive! All staff were happy, helpful and talkative.....service with a smile. Our swim up room was excellent. It was a good size, very comfy bed, nice decor and beautifully clean on arrival. The terrace with table, 2 chairs, 2 sun beds and an umbrella was quite private and from this you stepped into the cool swim up pool. We were so glad we paid extra as it proved essential. Food was very tasty, plenty of choice and beautifully presented. Although certain items appeared regularly there was so much choice you could build your own meals. Sandy villas is set in its own grounds which are well maintained by the gardeners. The most striking feature is the peace and tranquility which is present at all times. This is a true chill out place..........however...... Only 3 minutes walk through the garden and a car park you arrive at the sister hotel (Labranda). Think Butlins!! You have to walk through this complex (or get the golf buggy) to the beach. It is noisy and busy with familie. The beach is pure sand but in places full of cigarette ends. A small section of sunbeds (all free to use) is roped off for adults only but within metres are hardest of families from the sister hotel so lots of activity and noise. Set back from the beach is the glass sided pool with swim up bar which is all part of the adults only, all inclusive package. This was our favourite spot, sitting under an olive tree, watching the world go by. We didn't bother with the Greek or a la carte restaurants. Reports were mixed and they're NOT adults only. All in all we had a wonderful fortnight. Would we return? Most certainly but only for a week to chill in a swim up room, read, eat, drink and swim.
