Domes Miramare has amazing rooms as they are quite big, modern and have a beautiful view on the sea; The service does not meet the luxury requirements / price per night as when we arrived, all restaurants were fully booked, we could not get any dinner and the same happened two nights later; The Poolbar was also closed with the service comment "it's the end of the season". One would expect the hotel offering food at any time to their own guests. Location is nice, close to sea but buildings are separated by big road which can be quite noisy

I'm baffled by the ratings and reviews of this hotel. I looked up what is purported to be the most luxurious hotel on the island, and the most expensive, but what this hotel offers is far from what I expected. Service was so slow, most of my time was spent waiting (and I had nowhere to be, so imagine how slow it is), there are bugs and spiders all over the property. I had to call the front desk to take care of pests in my room multiple times, and was scared to enter my room or sleep because of this issue. The busy road that divides the rooms on one side of the property from the other is a hazard. The staff is trying hard. They were friendly and great overall, but just too slow and not well-trained in hospitality. Management has so much room to improve the product and attract even more business. The location in Corfu is perhaps to their benefit, and if other hotels on the island are worse, maybe in the management's view there's no need to improve the product. Very confused. I guess I would recommend caution if staying here, especially for special occasions.

Visited as a couple in September / October 2024. This hotel is beautiful - the location is incredible, with its own beach with plenty of comfortable loungers. The food in the restaurant (we went half board) was great with a menu of the day each evening, as well as the regular restaurant menu. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of options. The room was large, spacious and very comfortable with a massive bed. My only negative was housekeeping - it was done regularly, but attention to detail was not there. The mini fridge in the room was quite unclean, occasionally glasses and dishes were not cleared away properly, flowers in the room wilted and died but were not taken away. A minor point for improvement. The main thing to highlight at this hotel is the wonderful staff. Everyone from reception, to hosts at both restaurants, waiting staff, beach bar staff - all of them were incredible. We felt very looked after, very cared for - nothing was too much effort for them to sort out or help with. I cannot stress this enough - the staff are just wonderful. I would happily return to this fabulous hotel. I'd also recommend renting a boat from Privilege boats next door - amazing experience driving a boat around the island!

Interesting pictures. Nothing like the real place. This hotel is split across the road. Away from the beach the hotel is on a hill and has fabulous views and a beautiful pool. The other side of the road are the rooms and the restaurant. The rooms are nicer than standard but nothing like the pics. You're not getting luxury, and items were missing from my room which took 4 days and 3 phone calls to have replaced like my bedroom carpet! Sea view doesn't mean a sea view - just that you can glimpse it through the trees (which block the view) if you're lucky. There is an air of elegance here. The food was superb with three different choices of restaurant. The breakfast was a delight with multiple options of everything inc smoothies and juices, and different local honeys. The beach was small and stoney but there was sand in the sea which was crystal clear. The waiter service on the beach was fun - with a bell at each parasol we barely had to move at all except into the water. I'm not sure you're really getting value for money - the pics really do not match what you get, and we had no idea how to get what the pics showed (and money wasn't a problem).

This hotel is luxurious and refined. The second you walk in, you’re greeted my friendly staff and a breathtaking view. The private beach is peaceful and uncrowded, while the rooms are modern and comfortable. The hotel restaurants are tasty and not overly expensive. The hotel breakfast is decadent like no other, you have to experience it for yourself. The location is a bit remote, so you will need to book a taxi or rental car if you plan to go to old town corfu. Although, there are some complimentary excursions into town that are offered, they just may not fit into your personal itinerary for the week. Surprisingly, there were some mosquitos at night time, so if you come in the late summer or early fall, plan on bringing bug spray.
