Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort

Very nice resort but older and needs some upgrades. The house reef here is awesome. The food was average. Nothing special. The overwater bungalows with pool were amazing. However, the airconditioning was very weak and leaked all over our clothes. The resort did our laundry and gave us a comp massage to make up for the mishap. That was very nice. But the room was hot during the day as the AC didn't work properly. We lost power one night due to winds but they fixed it very quickly. The price was good but things could definitely be improved. The service is truly excellent and the staff is very friendly and nice. We came from a different resort on a different Atoll so we had high expectations. The food and comfort of the other resort was so much better. But the reef at Mercure was a little closer and better. Mercure also had more affordable activities. For the price it's a good option. I just hope they update some things like AC units, beds, pillows etc. The private dinner on the beach and floating breakfast were nice upgrades. The massage at the spa was great. The snorkeling trip was awesome. Jet skiing was fun. The beaches and views were beautiful.

Our stay at Mercure Maldives Kooddoo was amazing. There was great service throughout and everyone in the service team was really helpful, friendly and patient. The views were also really beautiful. They also provide free activities and benefits if you stay longer, for ex., snorkelling trips and sunset fishing. We couldn't ask for more! It was an all-inclusive experience and it was totally worth every penny. Food and drinks were plentiful and there was so much variety. We were full and satisfied after every meal. We really enjoyed the beach, the water was so blue and clear. Transfers to and from the hotel were smooth and stress-free. They even helped us find our way at the airport. We had a wonderful honeymoon here ❤ We will come again with family and friends!

Our stay was incredible. I had high hopes going into the trip based on on-line photos and videos of the resort. Our stay was even better than expected. Our villa was perfect from the spacious interior to the direct ocean access and private pool outside. Our mini-bar was stocked daily according to our preferences, and housekeeping regularly left lovely designs on our bed with palm leaves and flowers. Though I was not a fan of snorkeling before this trip, my husband and I snorkeled daily from our villa using the equipment provided for free by the resort. The "ultra-inclusive" promise also lived up to the hype. My husband and I each got massages with the 50% off voucher. Even without the voucher, the spa services were very reasonably priced unlike other resorts we have visited. We also used our excursion voucher to go on a snorkeling trip that took us to the reef on the nearby island. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and we were able to see all sorts of ocean-life, including reef sharks and sea turtles. The food was also amazing, and very friendly to my gluten-free diet. Dishes were marked and the chefs were eager to make sure I had what I needed. I can't say enough good things about our stay!

We had such an amazing time at the resort. We were catered like VIP. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The abundance of food were delicious. Snorkeling, jet ski adventures, dolphin cruise and the spa offerings were great. The resort is clean and pristine. The sunsets were amazing. We highly recommended Mercure & will definitely be back for more!!

We had such a great experience - The over water sunset villa was stunning ! It was very well presented and very clean. The food and wine and cocktails were of a high standard. The crystal clear water and snorkeling was outstanding - an abundance of fish and reef sharks. The only disappointment was our daily beer bucket - on most days we just didnt receive it ! But this was minor compared to the standard of this adults only resort... totally recommend this bucket list holiday !
