Check in took long time and at the end i had no any information about breakfast times, pool and fitness locations , key card to using elevators. Concierge wasn’t available sometimes, my was told they had to bring luggage to the rooms. First impression wasn’t pleasant Second day, bay chance i meet Angelia, GM from the hotel. She gave me all the information needed, and took a lot of time to gave advises about the city. Big thx to her Room in the 20 th floor was big, clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was delicious, big choice of international and asian dishes. All staff was very friendly what i consider as a big plus Pool at the second floor was to small for a good swim Location was very close to Bukit Bintang, Monorail station, as well to the Petronas twin towers. Pavilion a great shopping mall can be reached after a 5 minutes walk In general i was satisfied with my stay in the hotel.

Novotel KLCC has the best location & accessibility to the best spots of Kuala Lumpur. Rooms are very clean, neat & tidy. One big thing worth to mention about the bathroom/shower area is the choice of tile the hotel chose to use✅️💯it is very clever, anti-slip. I find it very helpful to those with mobility issues, old people & kids as well. Great job Novotel KLCC. Lastly, the front desk staff are very accommodating, helpful & friendly specially Mr Khaliq.

Despite arriving at the hotel 2 hours after checkin time, we were told our room was not ready so we needed to wait 15 minutes for the cleaners to finish. After 15 minutes, I checked at reception but the room still was not ready and was told another 15 minutes. This continued for an hour. We were asked to wait in the bar area which, with three small children, after a long day of travelling was not what we needed. Had we been told the room would take at least an hour, we could have walked across the road to the mall or done anything other than wait. Eventually we were given the keys to one of our two rooms and were told the keys for the other room would be given to us when the room was ready. These delays were not a good start to the stay. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable. We did have an issue with the airconditioning that it was badly dripping and made the area of carpet near the bathroom very wet. We advised reception and while they fixed the drip, they failed to dry the carpet so everytime we walked in or out of the bathroom, our feet got wet. Regarding the food services in the premier lounge and the breakfast restaurant. I was highly concerned about the temperature the food was served. It was neither hot nor cold. This was consistant over the 3 night stay. The location is great. I really like Novotel properties but for this particular one, I would unlikely return.

All is good, but there is no bottled water. Later, realised you could fill up from a filtered separate tap in the bathroom. Novotel management should clearly indicate in the room that an unlimited supply of filtered, drinkable water is available from the bathroom. Don't assume that the guest will know or has the liberty to investigate and find out by themselves. Breakfast was excellent!

Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing, mainly due to poor service and a complete lack of guest-oriented communication. I had a very unpleasant experience with the laundry service. I was informed that my laundry would be ready at 8 PM, but instead, at 8 AM, I was woken up by loud knocking on my door. The staff member kept saying “housekeeping,” even though I repeatedly said I didn’t need it and asked him to come later. Only after several attempts did he shout “laundry.” I had gone to bed late, so being woken up like this was extremely uncomfortable. When I opened the door, I was told that payment was cash only, with no prior notice that cards were not accepted. My laundry was taken to the reception, so I couldn’t even get my items immediately. For a hotel of this level, this is very strange. After this incident, I contacted the hotel manager via WhatsApp to explain the situation. The response was confusing — the person clearly didn’t understand what I was explaining and simply replied that the laundry would be ready at 8 PM, even though I already had my items in my hands. When I clarified that the issue was not the timing but the service itself, the original message was deleted, and I received only a short reply: “Oh, so sorry for the inconvenience.” No explanation, no follow-up, and no clarity about who I was even communicating with. When I went to the reception to collect my laundry and pay, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation. The receptionist did not even consider it necessary to ask what had happened. There was no interest, no questions, and no attempt to understand or resolve the issue. A service fee was added to the bill, the service itself was slow, and the whole interaction felt indifferent and dismissive. Overall, the service in the hotel is weak. Reception staff rarely smiles, and when problems occur, they don’t seem to care. The hotel is extremely crowded with large tourist groups. If you are visiting for a short business trip, be prepared: the lobby is constantly full, the reception is often unavailable, and the crowds and noise can be very disturbing. During check-out, I asked if it was possible to leave one hour later. I was told no due to high occupancy, but that 30 minutes would be possible, which I understood. However, about 15 minutes later I received a confusing phone call asking again when I would leave and how much time I needed. The person spoke very unclearly, and the call made me feel rushed, as if they wanted me out as soon as possible. I did a fast check-out and left the hotel with a strong feeling that nobody was happy to see me as a guest. I will not be coming back.
