I've now been three times to Sala Phuket and had a wonderful time each time. It's now my wife and I's happy place when we need a break away from the world.
It's in a more secluded part of Phuket so it's perfect if you want peace and quiet.
The service is unbelievably good. In our three stays there, nothing has been too much trouble for the staff. Any problems with the room are rectified immediately (including one time we had a beehive hanging from one of our trees). Staff are attentive at the restaurant. The food is varied and always excellent.
The rooms are lovely and well maintained, but the one down point is they are starting to show their age a little. The bathroom facilities are all outdoors (in full privacy of course) which isn't for everyone, of course.

We recently spent five nights at this resort and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, quiet and very comfortable. Every member of the staff we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure talking with Tony the chef and Tiger the food and beverage manager as they walked around the restaurant checking to see that all was well. The food was wonderful and we really liked the choice of dishes. SALA is definitely on our list for a return visit.

The villa I stayed in was nothing short of spectacular. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, providing a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Stayed in a SALA Signature Pool Villa which was stunning - loved the location and relaxed and peaceful feel of the resort throughout - the consistently high levels of F&B were another highlight - breakfast lunch and dinner were all delicious with lots of choice. Service was also excellent and the staff were all polite, courteous and friendly and a credit to the resort.

Me and my husband stayed here for 5 nights and below is my detailed review of the place:
1) SERVICE: beyond exceptional! Staff are super super nice, i was feeling a bit sick first two days and they were kind enough to bring the breakfast to the room and take me to the pharmacy all free of charge.
2) FOOD: room service and sala restaurant have exceptional food and amazing quality with reasonable prices. Breakfast buffet needs a bit more variety in terms of fruit.
3) ROOM: is spacious and AC is cold and working amazing. However, bathroom and toilet are outdoor which can be bothersome as there are some insects and lizards which is normal for an island weather.. sometimes they come to the room, but staff are always helpful in terms of cleaning.
One of the biggest hotel pools ive seen and completely private which was a bonus for us!
