My recent stay at this five-star hotel transcended the expected luxury and service; it became a testament to genuine care and compassion. Arriving significantly unwell, I preceded my travel companions and found myself in a difficult situation. Despite my booking being under my roommate's name, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. Their proactive efforts to locate my reservation were truly remarkable. Even while I waited, battling a high fever, they graciously offered me tea and did everything possible to make me feel comfortable.
This exceptional level of service continued throughout my stay. The room service team was simply outstanding, providing attentive and personalized care that made me feel genuinely looked after. Their support played a crucial role in my rapid recovery. I extend my deepest gratitude to the entire staff, especially those who looked after room 519. Their kindness and helpfulness were far beyond what one expects, even at a five-star establishment. They transformed my challenging start into a truly positive experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking not just luxury, but genuine human connection.

The hotel check in experience was very well handled and the hotel staff treated us wonderfully.
The pool amenities were great and well looked after.
They have an app for the hotel which was very convenient to use, and made our 4 day stay very easy to schedule cleaning.
Only complaint I would have was that during a buffet dinner a waiter had cleared our table as my party all left to grab another plate of food - this meant our drinks (which we paid additional for) got taken away, some of them were not finished.

Super convenient location with an outstanding breakfast bar! The room was connected to the pool but ours was shaded and a mosquito haven and a bit small for the price. Service was good but expected a little more for a five star accommodation. If I come back I'll probably stay at the Holiday Inn as it had more Restaurants and much larger areas near the pools.

Overall good experience. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Regarding structure, in my opinion, a distinction should be made between very beautiful and well-finished common areas (halls, restaurants, etc.) and, on the other hand, rooms that lack some important details. Comfortable For example, there is no hanger near the shower where you can put a towel, there is no sliding door that completely closes the shower, a hairdryer is standard, the lighting of both the bathroom mirror and the room is very low. Finally, the rooms have a lot of humidity which makes the air really unpleasant. In this regard, however, they were very kind at the reception and promptly provided us with a dehumidifier to solve the problem.
Regarding the location, it must be said that it is really excellent, in fact you can reach the most important places of nightlife on foot.

My husband and I returned from the Grand Mercure last week we had a brilliant time the hotel is amazing. We upgraded to a pool access room and it was absolutely worth it. We literally had the pool to ourselves most days and it’s so big. The staff just can’t do enough for you so courteous and respectful. We found Thai people to be so friendly. The decor is beautiful so many extras in our room that we appreciated such as use of a beach bag, umbrellas ( just in case) bottled water replenished daily etc. live music was nice. The breakfast selection caters for a wide range of nationalities. Really enjoyed the fresh smoothie station. Would definitely return again. There was an odd smell of garlic from our bathroom almost daily which needs to be looked into but wasn’t really an issue for us as it wasn’t persistent and with constant use of our sun loungers/pool the room was aired out frequently.
