The welcome drink was refreshing & the reception was friendly. The room was very comfortable & roomy. I am very impressed with the cleaning service. The swimming pool was awesome & a great place to relax. It was convenient to do swim at the beach and walk a few meters to then swim in the pool. The buffet breakfast service teams are to be commended, servicing the crowds everyday with a warm and welcoming smile.

Disappointed with Customer Service & Overall Experience I recently stayed at Katathani Phuket Beach Resort and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. After checking out, I realized I had left my invisible aligners in my room and immediately contacted the hotel via email. These aligners are expensive and essential for me to wear every night. However, the hotel completely ignored my request for assistance. Despite multiple attempts to escalate the issue and speak to a manager, my emails were dismissed without any response. Beyond the poor customer service, the food at the hotel’s restaurants was just average—not at all what you’d expect from a 5-star resort. Additionally, there is no consistency in pricing. The same beer had different prices across the hotel’s restaurants and bars, which felt unfair and unprofessional. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone expecting quality service, professionalism, or transparency in pricing. Definitely not up to 5-star standards.

Katathani Resort was the best possible holiday. The resort is exquisite and has so many facilities and opportunities to make your holiday great. Staff are very friendly and helpful and always available. The food and restaurants are all amazing. The pools and gardens are sublime with an incredible amount of recliners enabling relaxation by the pool.. The report is a short trip from anywhere in Phuket and Bolt is a great way to get around. It’s also close to shops and massage businesses and restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel is perfect if you just want an easy get away trip away from busy town center. It has direct access to a beautiful beach with very clear seawater and soft sand. The beach is public but not very busy and there are like 6 hotel pools and plenty of beach chair for you to enjoy the sun. There is even a quiet pool for adult only if you don’t want to hear kids screaming around. Most of the staff are very friendly ( except a lady at the breakfast reception, when I saw a table available in the first row by the poolside upon our arrival I asked if we could sit there, she didn’t look at all and said no they are all occupied, and asked me to step aside and wait in not so friendly tone… then another guy working there said ok there are tables available so ended up we just followed the guy to the table we wanted). The rooms are of standard size and some rooms may be in a building further away from the reception. There are some local restaurants nearby if you don’t want to stay in hotel for foods everyday.

Absolutely loved our stay at Katathani! The rooms are stunning and a great size, the pools are beautiful and there are heaps of food and drink options across various restaurants and bars. Staff are absolutely wonderful and nothing was a bother, they were always readily available to help. Can’t wait to come back!
