We are giving a full 5-star rating without hesitation because this resort offers everything you would expect from a high-end, adults-only, beachfront hotel. We stayed for about a week in January. The days were pleasantly warm, while the evenings were a bit cooler. Throughout our stay, the staff was consistently courteous, friendly, and attentive. We felt recognized and well taken care of. Although the hotel is not brand new, it is impeccably maintained. The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished, and serviced to the highest standard. The entire property is beautifully landscaped and meticulously cared for. Breakfast is outstanding—great variety, excellent quality, and incredibly friendly, attentive staff. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace was always a pleasure. The happy hours, including afternoon tea and evening drinks with delicious bites, were a daily highlight. The pool is large and perfect for swimming, while the hotel’s private beaches are pristine and well-maintained. The service at both the pool and beach areas is equally outstanding, with staff always ready to assist. Final Verdict: We felt completely at ease and will definitely return on our next trip to Oman. Highly recommended!

I had the most brilliant time. All the staff were exceptional. No children allowed and that makes a huge difference. The pool and beach areas were fantastic and the food was delicious. Would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

There is not one thing I can say I did not like about this hotel. The location is amazing, spectacular views of the sea. The staff are the best I’ve ever experienced and cannot do enough to enhance your stay. Nothing is too difficult , they are super efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and kind. The rooms are lovely and spotlessly cleaned each day. Had the pleasure of meeting Nick the manager who is around the hotel checking on guests and happy to chat. The breakfast is an absolute pleasure with the views from the breakfast room making a wonderful start to your day. Loved the pool, the private beach and wandering over to the sister hotel for water sports and dinning . We will definitely be revisiting this amazing hotel.

An Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommended! From the very moment we drove into the resort – we were blown away. It is exquisite! Every single aspect of our stay was simply amazing, from the level of service to the very small details, shew, cannot be grateful enough we had an opportunity to stay here. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every single comfort, making us feel like superstars. The amenities are incredible – it’s clear that no comfort was overlooked. We were fortunate enough to receive a free room upgrade, which only added to the luxurious experience. The mini bar was restocked daily, we had a daily high-tea, and a daily cocktail evening – which was such a lovely touch. You are surrounded by beauty everywhere you go and honestly, there are not enough words. What truly made our stay memorable though, was the people. The employees are phenomenal, they were warm, welcoming, attentive and just ensured we always had everything we needed and more. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Shangri-La Al Husn sets the standard for excellence, and we would be honoured to return in future.
