Beautiful and relaxing place! Little bit further away from the town that what makes it quiet and calming. Staff are exceptionally polite, attentive and welcoming all the times!
Also, as somebody who tries massage services in the most places could highly recommend massage in this place. Stayed 8 nights and me and my husband had massage 4 times each. Super ladies! 🌴

Had a great 5 night stay at the hotel! The staff and the rooms are amazing. We stayed in the private pool villas and had a good experience. It’s in a good location, a 10 minute drive to the centre.
I loved the spa services as well. The breakfast was decent - the Indonesian breakfast is the best IMO. The other choices are very average. You can also request the hotel car and driver for sightseeing to slightly far away places. This was a great option for us after a few terrible experiences with an external cab company.
A couple of things that can improved upon would be the cleanliness of the pool in the private villas (there was some mould floating the water by day 3) as well as the daily housekeeping. The sheets weren’t very clean and the used cutlery wasn’t replaced a few times.
Overall, I would recommend Sankara and we will be back once again!

Beautiful hotel, great staff, very friendly overall and truly relaxing. The location is great as well, just the right distance from Ubud, yet far enough from the crowds. My only concern is that the breakfast can take a long time, but that's understandable given their great selection.

A home away from home is how I will describe this wonderful beautiful resort.
It was everything we had imagined and more. Excellent from every angle- rooms, cleanliness, hygeine, bathrooms, facilities, food, amenities, pickup and drop facilities, pool, spa, reception, lobby, staff behaviour, landscaping and greenery.
Our two days spent there were full of lovely experiences and we highly recommend anyone who wants to stay in Ubud.

Great stay, no complaints. The best rooms are the ones with the private pools. They are much, much better.
It is a 10 minute drive into Ubud town. I used Grab app to order cars, which were cheap and arrived within 5 minutes.
The floating breakfast was fun. Overall, the breakfast is however unremarkable. Better to go to eat in Ubud town than in the hotel.
The communal pool was beautiful. There aren’t many beds, but it was never busy. The gym had limited equipment, some of which was not functional, but it was fine.
