Only spent a night so that we could be close to the airport after coming from Ubud for the week. We had come from a 5 star resort so it was hard not to compare to. It's a nice resort, with a big pool/pool bar. We didn't use the restaurant or spa so cannot comment on that. Loved the look of the massive swim up bar though! The staff were attentive and incredibly friendly and the service was great, even preparing a breakfast box for our early morning depart. We stayed in a suite room, and the room was quite dated and just didn't feel overly clean. There was mold through the bottom of the shower. I would say the rooms are 3 star standard. Overall, given the price and location it's not a bad place to stay at all, it's just more of a budget resort.

We spent the last three nights before our journey home at the Alantara Hotel, where we booked a one-bedroom pool villa with breakfast included. The villa was beautifully designed, exceptionally spacious, and featured a stunning private pool that made our stay truly special. Breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety of options, including hot dishes, fresh fruit, sweet treats, eggs prepared in every imaginable way, and absolutely outstanding coffee. The staff were incredibly friendly, courteous, and attentive throughout our stay, always making sure we felt comfortable and well looked after. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, with several cafés, spas, and local warungs within easy walking distance. In addition, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the city center and back, which made getting around even easier. Overall, Alantara Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would definitely stay there again.

Such an amazing hotel! The absolute high point was the service from the whole Alantara team. From the minute we checked in to the moment we left they could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Having stayed at many global hotels over the years I can honestly say it was the best service I have received. Lovely room, awesome tropical outdoor areas and pool. I would definitely stay there again. I had the pleasure of visiting the day spa. Beautiful environment including a coy fish pool and lovely decor, with one of the most relaxing massages I have ever received.

We had a great, quiet stay. The whole place has a calm, welcoming vibe that makes it easy to unwind. The front staff were always friendly and helpful, and the restaurant and poolside bar staff were excellent, warm, attentive, and always happy to have a laugh, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The food was excellent too, which was a nice bonus. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the peaceful pool and grounds were perfect for relaxing. The property feels chilled and tucked away. Overall, it was a great spot to switch off and enjoy some downtime. We’d definitely go back.

We had a great stay at this really nice, tropical hotel. Room was comfortable, pool was really nice, breakfast was very good, and the service was excellent. You could walk to some places but it was a little dangerous with traffic. There's a shuttle but it leaves you in town for a minimum of 2 hours. Grab is easy and cheap. Would have rather not had to walk up steps to room. Also had an extremely strong 1 time chemical smell at pool. Overall highly recommended.
