love the pool, the gym, and the outdoor ambience so far! we smell mold in out first room, but thank god they have another empty room so they moved us to another room. the staffs were super friendly and helpful. they provide a buggy car for us to go to the beach. good food! love it

The Alantara has a beautiful pool and a limmitted number of beds along the pool (always a rush in the morning to reserve one). The staff is super friendly and always willing to help. So why were we not too happy with our stay? We booked a suite but it is a joke to call this room a suite. It is very small and clearly not 40 square meter as is stated. Furthermore the location is unfavorable (far from the beach and a grab needs to cross the very busy highway which causes long waiting times). Last but not least. The restaurant is expensive and the prices on the menu do not include 20% tax and service.

I made a last minute booking here due to changing plans however I am so happy we stayed here! The staff, the rooms, the drinks and the breakfast were incredible! Would definitely stay again 🙏

We did call the hotel and asked for the pool service, just want to make sure if it’s available for public and they said: yes, it’s available as long as we order food from their restaurant. We drove, 6 of us, along the way from Kerobokan to Sanur. As soon as we arrived, we mesmerized by the place because it’s beautiful and tranquil. However, when we asked the front office regarding the pool the just rejected us. They said the pool package is no longer available. But when we asked once more, they said it’s ok to dip in their pool as long as we order the food. So we led to the pool by the staff. When we get there, they told us to wait because they got to make sure once again. We waited for like 20 min and they said: we’re not available to use the pool but able to order the food from the restaurant. We’re highly understand that you have your own regulation for the pool, but please make things clear first before you tell this to the customer. Also driving from Kerobokan to Sanur is definitely no joke. Hope to revisit with the better service.

Disappointing how the restaurant could not accommodate many guests for breakfast and had many waiting at poolside bar whilst tables were full, caused by many late comers and the seasonal rain delaying those intending to eat out. Bar was also full, and there was nowhere to sit, so I was told to go back to our room and await a call. However, the manager Bagus Eka was very helpful like the rest of the fantastic staff and implemented new measures to accommodate more guests where required. Overall, it is an exceptionally impressive hotel that truly values and proudly shares Balinese culture and has a truly outstanding Spa and staff. Particulary impressed with their coaching/mentoring hospitality apprenticeship scheme they were running with new students. Highly recommended and beautiful hotel, we will definately visit again. Also thanks Ita for your amazing service and lovely conversations, incl recommendations. Best of luck with your ongoing career at the hotel!
