It was a menorable experience staying at The Standard. Service was splendid upon touching down Male airport. Room was spacious and had a great view. A few steps down and you can immediately swim in the sea to meet the fishes.
If I may suggest, food choices to have a little more variety as one can get bored after staying there for a few days. And staff should keep a lookout at the buffet spread, as I saw kids using the serving thongs to feed themselves.

It's a beautiful resort in a beautiful country. The over water rooms are very large, the deck even wider, with own pool and steps down to the coral reef below. The bathroom is the biggest I have seen in a resort room, even has a mirror ball over the six foot circular tub. The staff are amazing, so nice and always asking if they can help. I can't see how they could do things better.

Amazing vacation we had with our family. Excellent staff always ready to help. Very good food. We are vegetarians. Enjoyed so many varieties of vegetarian options. My mother, 75 years along with my sister had absolutely great time. Very safe, clean and shallow waters with incredible colours. For the people who have fear of water, this is the best place for them to practice snorkeling and confidentially go to deeper places for better expeditions. I guess we chose the best place for family vacation. Thank you the team "The Standard"

Absolutely perfect place. Looks even better than on the picture. The food in restaurant is amazing. Everyday different meals, fresh fruits, juices and many more. Also the stuff is very friendly and helpful. Recommend to stay in overwater villa with private pool. You can snorkel next to it and admire coral reefs.
