Service is so friendly, kind and funn!
Location is Amazing! Only a short 30 minute drive from the airport ; different elevations on the resort property so there's so many different views you get ; 2 beaches with so many different activities for options to do!
Numerous amount of restaurants and bars, drinks and food delicious!
Everything at Resort is beautifully updated with a beach paradise look and very clean!
Highly recommend!🧡

I had a wonderful day pass stay at this 5-star, kid-friendly hotel. It was the perfect combination of relaxation and fun. The service was exceptional, and the food was delicious, with a variety of options. The amenities were top-notch, with a fantastic adult and kiddies pool, and plenty of activities to keep you entertained. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, making it a great place to unwind. My only regret is not getting a room because after all those delicious meals, ethnic fatigue had its way with me. However, I highly recommend staying here. 👌

We had a lovely experience at this resort. Located on the east side of the island made for a more secluded and relaxed experience. Devils Bridge was an experience and the local beach nearby was very nice. Food was good and I would strongly recommend the Goat Water when available. The General Manager was nice enough to change the music to some local SOCA so that we might get a little bit of a more authentic experience while there... Appreciated. We had a great time.

I’m currently enjoying my stay at the Veranda and must say the attention to detail should make the new manager proud! The gounds are lovely and spotless. The head groundskeeper Charles gave us a great mini tour, very informative. The buggies to get you around the large spacious resort are frequent or you can call them anytime. The rooms are spacious, clean and have great views. The cleaning staff is thorough and have started to leave water bottles in our room. I’m in room 269 and close to all restaurants. The restaurants are unique with a well balanced menu. The main restaurant, buffet style is huge but the best part is there’s a side station which will whip up an individual specialty just for you. The bartenders are wonderful and make you drinks so that they’re flavorful so you can’t taste the alcohol but believe me it’s there! A shout out to Andre, the most entertaining bartender and Leon, so hard working. Please remember to tip them. They even started putting waiters at the poolside and beach to bring you drinks. The entertainment is nightly and we so loved the Wednesday night beach buffets. Decorations are beautiful and the reggae band was great. The chocolate buffet night is sumptuous, the only change I’d make is to bring the band closer, say next to the bar, to get people dancing. My favorite though is the aqua aerobics. Entertaining and makes you feel less guilty of all that food and drink! Huge shout out to Queen Latifa, Adam, Adio, and Devon! Sincerely, I have never been to a resort where the staff if so happy together and with guests! The new manager can always be spotted not far from the fun, so I believe that has something to do with setting such a positive tone. Well, I only have two days left of my two week holiday, so don’t only take my word for it but the many guests we’ve talk to here, stay two weeks, one week is not enough!

My room was large and looked and felt new, though there was a broken glass pane in the shower room, my only complaint. All the furniture was comfortable and there was a balcony.
It is a very large resort with some interesting restaurants and facilities, but it took so long to get from one to another, this is the thing I remember most about the place. They provide you with a black and white photocopied map of the resort which is next to useless.
The next worse thing for me was the meals. Unless you liked meat, and meals that had been simmering on buffet style counters for hours, you would not enjoy the meals here, and I didn't!
Drinks were good and plentiful, but bars could often not make the cocktails advertised and often seemed to run out of certain drinks. Wi-Fi was mostly good.
The crazy golf course was fun, but the swimming pools were not much use for exercise, simply splashing about.
Located on the east side of the island makes it a secluded and relaxed experience, although there is nothing nearby, other than Devils Bridge which is an interesting bit of coastline, though a 40 minute walk there and back - from that side of the resort.
I wanted to take a tour of the island, including the capitol, 'St John's' but the only tour available was to 'English Harbour' which was very interesting and quaint, but not enough.
When I was there, I would say the resort was predominantly occupied by visitors from the USA, judging by their raised voices.
I would certainly not like to return to this resort, or one like it, again.
