Had an amazing time with my family in December. We were upgraded to the Privilege room which was amazing as we got some extra benefits. It was the eve of my birthday and we were given a complimentary birthday cake. Staff was very friendly. Food was also delicious. Sanjay (one of the restaurant supervisors if not mistaken) was very nice and welcoming and took great care of us during dinner service. Great place overall.
One thing to improve is at tea time, the pancakes and fritters were not being replenished quickly. Had to wait quite some time before staff brings a fresh batch.

Family unit was very crammed for a family of 5 with 3 kids sharing a tiny room and 1 bathroom. That was very disappointing as there was not enough space and privacy. Housekeeping was daily however the toilet was not cleaned properly. Location is right by the beach which was great, bar for the all inclusive package was wonderful. The food was average, didn't have much variety for lunch but edible. New Year's Eve dinner was amazing!!! All in all an enjoyable stay. Would like to mention Sadeek, the restaurant manager was really great.

First of all, Thank you Anne Sophie (From Rogers Hospitality Reservation) for facilitating our booking. We owe you our End of Year event. So MANY THANKS! As for the Hotel itself, we were really warmly treated and well assisted by the staff at counters.
However, the resort needs to up their entertainment quality (Not much proposed). As for the 'waiters', we would request the management to look into the recruitment of more Mauritians... it's been a REAL LET DOWN to find that most waiters were foreigners with no affinity to the local language and culture... and most of the time, they look exhausted (Maybe they are already working elsewhere during the day?), confused and/or lost when asked to assist with something...+ all floor managers seem exhausted as well (Although helpful and trying their best possibly to cover for the shortage of workers)....But yes, this was a big minus point for me personally...Am sure Veranda can get more comfortable, better suited and pleasant service locally.
Otherwise, was a pleasant stay. Many Many thanks to the staff again for their day to day warmth and help.

We recently stayed at this beautiful resort and had an overall fantastic experience. The beach and surrounding grounds are stunning, with plenty of sunbeds available to relax on. The hotel’s location on the island is excellent, making it a perfect base for exploring. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made us feel special right from the start.
Breakfast and dinner was very nice with a selection of meals every day.
The pools and restaurants were excellent, and there were always plenty of clean towels on hand. Our room was spacious and very nice.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Staff couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. My husband and I had great massages in the spa by Stessy and Aurore.
We loved the beach, and both bars. We were pleased we had the all inclusive package, and whilst we enjoyed breakfasts and lunches in the main restaurant, we preferred the evening meals in the Sandy village. We hired taxis to do trips around the north and then the south of the island which were both good. The superior room package included a catamaran trip. 10 days went too quickly, would recommend.
