The AC in the room is kind of noisy and does not get cold enough. The room could use some renovations. The one hot tub at the resort is terrible, falling apart, barely works, and is a nightmare to get to. The staff are excellent. The entertainment is excellent. The location is close to shopping which is nice. The beach is not nice and the beach bar is closed for renovations. The food is very good and the main pool is nice. They need to add a smoking area. It would also be nice if they had an air-conditioned games room. The bars are pretty good, not as good as the ones at the last resort I went to, but still quite good.

Service was amazing! All the staff are very kind and helpful, I had an allergic reaction (to peanuts in chicken mole from the buffet) and they calmed me down and ordered me an ambulance and transported my friends to the hotel by taxi! They had on-site medics that helped me out while I was waiting for the ambulance. Past the reaction though, the rooms are clean and are restocked with beverages every day as well as cleaned thoroughly. We booked using AirTransat services and the transportation from the hotel and the airport was seamless. The drinks were great, they have a selection of frozen drinks that are surprisingly not at all on the sweet side, the only slight downside to the hotel is that the food is around a 3.5/5, but theres plenty of alternative (and affordable) restaurants around. The beach is also not great, although they have a nice sandy area with beach chairs close to the pool that has a great view of the ocean. Good beaches are only a 10-15 minute walk down the shore though! There weren't many events going on in the resort but there was one really fun foam party!

My husband and I stayed here for a week on our honeymoon, and loved it! The hotel is super close to many attractions in Playa Del Carmen, and the concierge is very helpful when it comes to booking excursions! We enjoyed all the food and drink options as well.
As honeymooners, we spent most days in the tranquil pool away from the high energy main pool. We especially loved the bartender, Miguel and server, Pablo who worked at the bar and sushi place up by the tranquil pool! They were so friendly and a kind, and a funny duo! Overall, we were very impressed by the professionalism and courtesy of all the staff, but also want to recognize Carlos at Bella restaurant, who we had a great conversation with as well!
We would highly recommend the spa, as we had hydrotherapy access and a couples massage that was phenomenal! A wonderful trip!

I hate reviews that are false. Then you book and then you are disappointed. Too late your there.
I came here in September of 2024 the hotel was not full. The chicken was not very pleasant with an employee called Christian that was not sensitive to our needs. We ended up giving us one of the smallest rooms in the hotel and we are too big guys the next day we had to change our rooms because they really did not make sense the size of the rooms and a female employee called Fatima really helped us out and was more understanding.
The hotel is clean and the employees are very pleasant what food is actually spectacular and you will not be disappointed however there is no Beach and if you're coming for a Beach vacation you will be extremely disappointed the beach has lots of rocks and you cannot walk in the water without having shoes and you may sprain your ankle. The pool is not very big. The proximity to the Main Street which has restaurants and lots of shops is very close. The greatest disappointment is about the beach and I truly do not recommend this hotel for that reason I have to come back another two times and I definitely will not booked this hotel because of that reason. I wish they thought out the location prior to building the it there they should definitely clear the beach from all the big rocks and have the fishermen boats place their boats elsewhere

I am really pleased that I booked this all-inclusive adult only resort. This is a beautiful property, quite compact. With friendly staff. It's very close to 5th street, so you can reach it easily on foot and spend some time shopping there. It's also within walking distance from the bus station, where you can take a bus to and from the airport (much more affordable), also close to the ferry dock.
We didn't experience a fowl smell in the property grounds like other recent reviews, only faintly when walking on the beach directly in front of the property.
The food was good quality, and the alcohol served was great. I loved the coffee bar and the snack-room, it was wonderful, the sushi restaurant was the highlight for us.
The only negatives I experienced were having to reserve in-person at a concierge, all restaurants for dinner, except the buffet option. It would be great if you could do it on the app. And have more flexibility since some evenings we didn't know when we would be returning. Some rowdy guests were left to make noise all night where everyone's rooms were, not close to any of the public areas. Also, upon arriving being led directly to a sales pitch to join the hotel group for a breakfast and 90min talk the next morning, we declined but didn't like that. I would return in the future if I have the opportunity.
