Poor service from most staff members I encountered. They all seemed disgruntled and like they hate their jobs. The room we had smelled, was dated, had stains on curtains, dirty floors and hair left in the shower. The food options were bad quality and left me and my son sick after this trip. To salvage some enjoyment of my trip, i checked out early and booked another hotel. This was by far my worst experience traveling, especially to Mexico. I thought I was being pranked. Wouldn’t stay here again if it was offered for free.

Very disappointed. The rooms and hotel are very dated. Obsolete air conditioning systems made the room feel wet. We had 2 rooms and only one toilet worked. When trying to call the front desk, there was never an answer. Stopped in to see the cincierge, to explain our issues, and he was argumentative.
Making reservations for dinner is the worst. You must use an app to set dinner reservations. You can only make them 24 hours in advance. The premium restaurants are nowhere near premium, and the staff in the restaurants seemed very miserable. Maybe because customers are constantly complaining about the app. Beach is small and overcrowded. This hotel feels just like a low-budget cruise. Cheap. Low quality. Poor service. I do not recommend this hotel.

The rooms are outdated. The first room we were given didn’t have cold water, and both the phone and TV were not working. Around 11 p.m., we were moved to another room, which had water but was equally outdated, and one of the lights didn’t work.
At check-in, we were introduced to a lady who was described as “our host.” She took us to an area near reception and started promoting a “special breakfast” for us, asking for a deposit. This was confusing since the hotel is all-inclusive. It turned out to be a timeshare pitch, which we declined.
Relaxing in our room during the day was not an option. One afternoon, I needed to get some work done, but it was impossible to concentrate due to loud hammering from construction upstairs.
On the positive side, the staff was consistently kind and helpful. The buffet restaurants were decent, while the à la carte options were excellent. We felt very welcomed by the staff, but overall, the experience was underwhelming.
We chose this hotel because we were traveling with our five-year-old daughter, but the kids’ pool was at the far end of the property and wasn’t very clean.

Was sold on an all inclusive vacation for our family. Any food that doesn't require a reservation is not edible. I wouldn't feed it to my dogs! The rooms are worse than a motel 6, however, the air conditioning is great. I would rather stay at a homeless shelter in Boulder, CO than stay here again. Absolutely miserable

Where do I begin to express my disappointment in this hotel? As soon as you arrive, it’s extremely difficult to find the location of the hotel as there is NO outside sign that states “Grand Oasis Palm”. The Google Maps direction leads you to an area of the hotel where you cannot enter and the staff lets you know that you can only arrive by driving in through ‘Sens’, a completely separate hotel beside Grand Oasis Palm. There is no valet parking. The next part was really shocking, when you enter the hotel, there is NO seating area as in chairs or couches where you can wait for your room to be ready at 3:30PM. That’s another thing. The reservation details states that your room will be ready for check in at 3:00PM, but once you arrive, they only let you into your room at exactly 3:30PM, and there is no seating area. The room is extremely old smelling, the bed is uncomfortable but the worst part is the view that they give you after you’ve spent good money to be there. I’ll attach it below. This is a horrible view, there is no view of anything and I had safety concerns that anyone from the other rooms could walk over to your side of the terrace. I think the next part I will mention is the worst of all of it, at night it was time to have dinner, we walk over to the two salons that they have available for buffet, both have the longest lines outside of the restaurants. You would have to wait minimum an hour or two to get inside to eat. This does not work for anybody but imagine if you have smaller kids who are hungry and crying, and your only option is to wait in line while it’s burning hot to get into the buffet. We actually decided to go to another location outside of the hotel to eat because the lines were so long. The entire experience was very bad and I would never ever return to this hotel. The service is not good either. On any floor, you will always be woken up if anyone opens a door or shuts it, literally everything is audible. 0/0.
