We found the whole experience a real treat.
The place is amazing and the staff so kind and helpful.
We will definitely go back again. Ask the owner to play the piano for you 👍👍

Beautiful gardens, sea view and very welcoming people own this family run Hotel. It’s made up of small low rise blocks of apartments with a hotel building where you can take breakfast a drink or meals throughout the day. The pool is a good size and very well maintained, sit back watch House Martins, Doves or even Bee Eaters fly around. We are return customers and the people and the place is wonderful base for this lovely part of Cyprus.

I've been returning to Akamanthea every summer, for nearly 20 years and it continues to be my go-to destination.
Since you enter the hotel, any stressful and negative thoughts are left outside the gate. The environment of the hotel is perfect for recharging your batteries. Whether it is enjoying the sun by the pool, having a refreshing drink at the veranda or simply enjoying the peace and quiet of my room. An important factor for those feelings to be possible is the friendly and professional staff, that will make you feel welcome since your arrival.
Finally, LOCATION!!!!!. Its location is perfect. There are so many places to visit in close distance (by car), like Akamas Peninsula National Park, Avakas gorge, various hiking areas etc.
I highly recommend Akamanthea for anyone seeking a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

I have nothing negative to say about the people working there, they were all very nice. The complexion was beautiful with the pool and the gardens, it was all nice. On the other had thought, the room was a little bit disappointing. The bed sheets were smelling weird and were all stained, even though they gave us clean ones. I don't even know if they washed the sheets with detergent, because the sheets had a weird smell. Also, I thing it's time for the hotel to change the sheets and buy new ones, literally! The room had a big fridge, a stove, washing machines, all good. In general, I think they should update their rooms immediately. Other than that everything was good.
