Fantastic honeymoon in paradise – Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort We spent our honeymoon at the Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort – and it was just unforgettable! Already the journey by boat has given a very special feeling, like immersing yourself in your own little world. The resort itself is an absolute dream: stylish, luxurious and at the same time incredibly relaxing. Our villa was beautifully decorated, with a fantastic access to the beach and so much privacy that we could really enjoy the time just for us. And the loving little details for the welcome have shown how much guests are addressed here. The entire team was incredibly warm and attentive – from the reception to the waiters to the housekeeping. Every single employee contributed to the fact that we felt completely comfortable. You can tell that hospitality is not just a word here, but is really lived. Culinary it was also a highlight: from freshly prepared dishes in the morning and in the evening to cocktails at sunset - all at the highest level. For us it was the perfect combination of luxury, tranquility and romance. We could not have wished for a better place for our honeymoon and will forever carry these special memories in our hearts. Rooms and service are great. Restaurants are very good but leave you desiring more. Staff are amazing in the full sense of the word. The island is rather small, but you don’t feel confined at all. It is still Dubai so don’t expect a different weather, but staying here early October was pleasant.

Despite the hotel being extremely busy, Monika was incredibly diligent in her work and handled every request with a warm and accommodating attitude. What impressed me most was how she managed to attend to us attentively while also efficiently supporting other guests at the same time. Her professionalism, patience, and hard work truly stood out, and it reflects the high standards of Anantara Hotels in hiring outstanding staff. Monika is a real asset to the team, and my stay was made much more enjoyable thanks to her dedication.

The trip to the resort was well organized both ways and went fast. Counting the time inside the marina it took 15 pleasant minutes. From the moment of parking the car everything was well prepared and went smoothly. The personnel was always friendly and keen to make our stay a pleasant experience. Small hiccups were resolved quickly and professionally. The island as such is an oasis of peace and quiet. The food was very good in both restaurants. All in all a great place to stay. We will visit again and can warmly recommend it.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my 2-year-old baby, and while the staff were friendly and the welcome was warm, unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet my expectations. To start, the room was not properly maintained — I found spiders and bugs throughout the space, including near the bed, which was very concerning considering I had a toddler with me. This raised serious safety and hygiene concerns, and it was quite disappointing to see such issues in what is supposed to be a high-end resort. The food prices were also extremely high and definitely not justified by the quality or variety offered. For a resort experience, I expected better value and options. Regarding transportation, the transfer boat does not have air conditioning, which is a major issue during the UAE summer heat. The lack of AC made the ride uncomfortable, especially with a small child. Additionally, the boat schedule was very limited and inflexible — I strongly recommend offering more frequent and convenient timings for guests. Although the island concept sounded appealing, it wasn’t as impressive in reality. I’ve visited other similar island resorts in the region and had far better experiences in terms of cleanliness, facilities, and atmosphere. Overall, while I appreciate the friendly staff and warm welcome, the issues with cleanliness, safety, food pricing, and transportation made the stay fall short of expectations.
