Just spent a week at this hotel with my friend and we had a great time. We found all staff to be very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel was spotlessly clean and so much choice for breakfast. Special mention for allowing us to keep our room on as we had a very late flight. That meant we had a full day lounging at the wonderful pool area. Can't fault this place and just want to thank all staff for a wonderful stay 👍

Lovely hotel, great facilities, very friendly staff. Exceptionally clean. Perfect rooms and quiet. A little outside the town, about 6-7 minutes walk. Taxis are good value if you need to travel further. Locally good selection of eateries, the hotel does offer good quality food and drinks

Spent a 8days here for our honeymoon
Excellent service , the hospitality and staff were great even had goodies in our room on arrival. The food was very healthy and nice
Only that there was no entertainment in the evening, but that suited us
Would highly recommend especially for couples

Angela Suites Hotel is in a good location, within 5 minutes walk of many Tavernas and the small harbour. All the staff were friendly and helpful, led by Manos who acted also as a Concierge to make sure we enjoyed our time in Crete. Our Junior Suite was to a good standard, but more Premier Inn than a suite as found in UK. There were always vacant pool loungers available during our stay in September, with sensible bar prices. Surprisingly there wasn't a fire safety door between the bar/reception area and the first 3 rooms along the adjoining concrete corridor. Such a soft close door would have reduced the inevitable noise travelling from the public areas to our room which was very noticeable a couple of nights prior to midnight. We found that by running the air conditioning unit in our room mostly masked the bar sounds. A highly recommended hotel that would be improved by installing a safety fire door before the first 3 bedrooms. A big thank you to Manos and his team for a super holiday.

I can give a maximum of 3 stars to this five-star hotel in Greece. I didn't expect luxury, but I did expect cleanliness. I've attached photos showing how the cleaning is done in the hotel. The mirror was dirty, there were hairs from previous guests on the floor, and even in the basket in the bathroom where the shampoo was, there were hairs. The room was cleaned every day, but the basket was never washed. I kept removing my things from it.
Secondly, the hairdryer was terrible, overheating after just 30 seconds.
Thirdly, the breakfasts were not bad, but we think the hotel is cutting costs. You can't pour your own coffee, tea, juice, or anything; you always need to find a waiter.
For us, it was also a downside that breakfast starts at 8 AM. Out of 8 days, we missed breakfast 4 times because it was too late as we had early plans on those days.
Fourthly, when we arrived, there was not even water in the fridge. A small bottle costs 1 euro. It's outrageous. It's the first time I've seen a hotel not providing free water. There are shops nearby where you can buy a large bottle for 50 cents.
In short, we do not recommend this hotel for young people
This hotel doesn't know how to handle criticism and claims that their maids are the best. Look at the closet; it's all stained. Look at the photo of the basket; there are hairs and dust. That's why we declined housekeeping services because they didn't clean properly anyway.
