We recently stayed at this resort for 4 nights, and while it was a relaxing experience, there were some highlights and areas for improvement.
First, a big shoutout to Ismail, Shibin, and Sunil at the pool bar—they truly made our stay special. Their friendliness and extra efforts to ensure we were comfortable added a warm touch to our trip. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the overall service from the staff was excellent.
The food was tasty, though the menu could use a bit more variety to keep things interesting for longer stays. Unfortunately, the spa experience fell short of expectations and didn’t quite justify the pricing. Also, the Azzure Restaurant near the ocean villas didn’t quite meet the mark, and we'd hoped for a bit more quality given the setting.
The resort itself is very quiet and ideal for those looking to unwind, but it lacks activities, so it may not suit travelers looking for more entertainment. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, and with a few improvements, it could be even better.

I have been to Maldives thrice but this property has an edge over the other two… The rooms are beautiful. The service was up to the mark, even though they don’t have an Indian chef, they managed to give us Indian food. According to the way we liked it. Everything which is in their hand to make you feel comfortable. On arrival, after 16 hours of travelling, we really wanted to get to our room and shower, but no, we had to have a guided tour of the island, beautiful though it is it wasn't the right time. Admittedly this did not take long but it could have waited. A management re-think is needed here.
The chalet style rooms are somewhat deceptive. They are semi-detached and are quite small. The outdoor bathroom is wonderful but the door leading to it was very scruffy with a difficult catch. For some reason it had no handles. I couldn't find anywhere to hang a towel in the room or by our pool. The bed was very comfortable. All conversation was audible from next door. The mini-bar was replenished daily with soft drinks and chocolate but not alcohol and there's no ice machine.
Our pool was lovely but was overdue a good clean by the end of our tenure, as were the walls which bore the marks of a lot of bird/bat mess.
You will get bitten. Take every available remedy with you. Remarkably, no bite cream/gel is available on the island. It is fumigated every day but it didn't seem to help much.
The main pool area is very chilled and relaxed. The bar menu is the best but limited and the bar staff are all absolutely excellent.
I was very surprised not to find any hand gel in the buffet area. Even before covid this was a good idea with everyone handling the same serving utensils. The buffet was disappointing. The majority of food was uncovered and there were lots of flies. The breakfast was OK but the lack of chillers surprised me for fruit and yoghurt etc.
The main pool was lovely but it is split level and all the tiles are the same dark grey colour with no highlighting between the levels. Be careful. You definitely need sea shoes.
The gym, though very small, was well kitted out and immaculate at all times.
The important thing is to remember that you are paying for the destination and the fact that everything has to be imported.

Beautiful island in the middle of the ocean. While the ocean villas are attractive, staying on the resort island itself gives better access to services and restaurants it seems. Staff are very well trained and you can find English and mandarin speaking staff all around. The sunset cruise is well worth the price and the one hour out in the sea. Boatmen will take the trouble to bring you to where dolphins roam, and ensure that you get a decent sunset experience. Place is perfect for a short getaway.
If there’s any downsides it’s the 45 minute seaplane ride with stops in between depending on your luck.
