We would like to sincerely thank the hotel for their warm hospitality and assistance. Our flight from Europe was delayed, which caused our trip to start a day later than planned. We were in shock and very stressed. However, the hotel kindly rescheduled our stay and transfer without any additional charges. Thanks to their understanding and support, our vacation was saved, and we are truly grateful for that.
The hotel itself is wonderful – the surroundings are beautiful, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. While the food selection might be more limited compared to some other places, the quality is outstanding. You won’t find items like French fries, pizza, or cheap pasta here, but instead, you’ll enjoy high-quality dishes like fresh tuna, beef, and fish. We truly appreciated that the hotel avoids overloading the buffet, preventing unnecessary food waste and contributing to sustainability and environmental care.
The housekeeping service was excellent, with our room cleaned daily. We were always delighted to find charming towel figures waiting for us – a small touch that brought us joy and laughter.
The drinks at the hotel were also of great quality. The beer and wine stood out, especially as the wine was served from bottles, not from barrels or other low-cost alternatives like in many other hotels.
One suggestion for improvement would be to have more staff at the bar, as the bartenders were often overwhelmed by the number of cocktail orders, leading to longer waiting times for guests.
Overall, everything was wonderful, and we will cherish these memories for a lifetime. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

They not have enough staff and who is there is verry slowly and are not nice with the turists! All the people compained that ordered a drink and get it after 20 minutes !!

The transfer from Velana airport is with domestic flyght and we waitted 5 hours when was the first flyght ! We buyed with transfer included ( seaplane ) but they transfered us with domestic flyght and when i asked they told me that i have to pay extra!!!
I stayed in others 3 resorts the last years in Maldive , with 8.0 on booking , but was top !! I don t understand how they have note 9.0 on booking ! My review on booking was not attached , finally they get this note on booking because not all the reviews was accepted !!!

We recently stayed at Ifuru island and it was literally amazing. The quality of the service at their Beach club is unmatched- polite and friendly staff which always served us with a smile on their face. Especially a girl named Angel who really made us feel pampered all the time! Hands down one of the best holiday destinations that I’ve ever been to. Food is amazing, rooms are luxurious, It is always clean and the views are mesmerising. 10/10

More Appearance Than Substance – A Disappointing Stay

We are experienced travelers who have visited the Maldives multiple times as well as numerous countries and hotels. Unfortunately, this hotel was a huge disappointment, and we would never return.
Positives:
The rooms were beautiful and very clean. We would like to highlight the staff member IFA, who took care of all our requests promptly and reliably. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
Negatives:
1. Food: For a hotel of this category, the food is simply unacceptable. The buffet selection was shockingly small and disappointing. In the à la carte restaurants, we sometimes had to wait over an hour for our food. Drinks took 30 minutes to arrive—or were completely forgotten. Even though we tipped for every drink, the service did not improve.
2. Coral Reefs & Marine Life: The hotel does not have proper coral reefs. There were no sharks, rays, or turtles to be seen. If you swim out 100–200 meters, you might get lucky and spot a turtle, but that’s about it. On all the other islands we visited, the ocean was like an aquarium—here, it was a massive letdown.
3. Check-out Process: The check-out process was the worst we have ever experienced. Our international flight from Malé to Frankfurt was scheduled for 12:00 PM, yet we had to check out at 4:30 AM. We then had to sit in the lobby until 6:00 AM before being flown to a local island to pick up more passengers. Finally, we landed in Malé at 7:30 AM, where we had to endure another 4.5 hours in the heat at the airport waiting for our flight. Instead of booking a seaplane to pick us up comfortably at 9:00 AM—as we were used to from other islands—the hotel clearly chose to cut costs at the guests’ expense. We had to wake up at 3:30 AM for a flight that departed at 12:00 PM—absolutely unacceptable!
Conclusion: This hotel is all about appearances and fails to deliver on expectations for a 5-star experience. We will definitely never vacation here again.
