The hotel itself is lovely. Very relaxing! Paradise. But unfortunately when leaving we booked the sea plane. Instead of riu booking the sea plane to arrive 2-3 hours before our international flight from male. The sea plane was delayed by over an hour which apparently is a common occurrence. This left us with only 40 mins to get our international flight home which we ended up missing and having to pay over £3000 to book another flight the next day after the hotel assured us we would be supported. At the airport security would not let us through even thou our flight was delayed by over 2 hours! I would strongly suggest to not waste your money on the sea plane or if you do make sure riu books it properly with sufficient time taking into consideration potential delays which once again is a common occurrence of the sea planes. Really disappointed to have ended our trip like this and left a bitter taste in our mouths with Riu.

In a word ... Paradise.
The location is awesome, a pair of atolls linked with a walkway that houses the over the water suites. These suites are fully equipped and luxurious.
The staff team; cannot do enough for you. Always friendly and helpful with a big smile.
The facilities; all you could want of such a location. Mostly water based as you'd imagine. Something for everyone.
Overall a marvellous location and experience. Once in a lifetime? Oh no, we would come again.

Great Resort in a beautiful spot. Spacious and clean rooms (beach junior suite) good privacy, with direct access to a pristine beach surrounded by palms. The resort is built over to small islands connected by a jetty (the water villas are built on both side of it). The food was good (but not super). Good cocktail. The wine included in the all inclusive package was not impressive at all, actually quite acidic. The cocktails were good and well prepared. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not too many little children. Never felt crowded.
The only downside is that to walk from the end of our side of the resort where our room was to the reception it was a long (1km) walk under he sun and the carts for transport run too far apart; if you just miss one you need to wait more than 10 minutes. They could easily have 2 rather than 1 electric cart running.
