In a word ... Paradise.
The location is awesome, a pair of atolls linked with a walkway that houses the over the water suites. These suites are fully equipped and luxurious.
The staff team; cannot do enough for you. Always friendly and helpful with a big smile.
The facilities; all you could want of such a location. Mostly water based as you'd imagine. Something for everyone.
Overall a marvellous location and experience. Once in a lifetime? Oh no, we would come again.

So far, the stay has been perfect, with the typical turquoise and hot sea water, good food (variety, quality and quantity), goos clean service and kind staff. Although there are three negative points that I could refer: RIU Palace Rooms are too far away from the main entertainment activities, most of them on Riu Atoll. The beach in front of our room is full of rocks, which made it very difficult to enter into the water. The currents near the overwater rooms are very strong, which doesn't allow you to be in the sea water relaxed as you could near the beach.

What a magical place. Couldn't fault it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and tidy. Great selection of food, with additional themed restaurants.

If you are a foodie, do NOT go to this resort.
It’s a shame because the place is beautiful and the service is great.
The food was enough to make me want to leave. Everyday was the same thing & tasteless. Room service is the worst I’ve ever seen in my life. It claims to be 24hour snack bar, but they serve only old pastries, and toast with 1 slice of cheese and an old cold hot dog from the fridge. I was beyond shocked. There is no other food available from 10:30AM-1:00PM.
The only restaurant that was very good was the Japanese restaurant. It was delicious. All the other restaurants are the same food at the buffet.
Cannot believe I spent $1000.00/night for this.

Rui Palace Maldives is one of our favorite hotels. Incredible cleanliness, varied cuisine, friendly staff, live music. Beaches, chef' kiss!
