We had a fantastic family time. The whole staff did really took care of us! Everything was very professional organized from the arriving to the airport, the lounge, seaplane flight and reception.
Everything which was offered was available and the island is maintained at a very high level surrounded by excellent services.
The food quality is extraordinary, and whatever you ask, address the utmost is done to satisfy you. Amazing team spirit and great coral reef!
Everything is very relaxed and charming.
Even the medical support, just in case it‘s too organized so one can feel very safe.
We had a Family Beach Villa - everything is well maintained, clean and a superb room for a family. Our kids (9/14) loved it - they could move independently on the island with great attention of the staff🙏

A beautiful resort in Dhaalu Atoll, Maldives. The island is full of beautiful, mature vegetation and very picturesque. Beaches are well looked after, fine white coral sands typical of the Maldives.
The reef compares very favourably to other house reefs. The corals in Dhaalu atoll are surprisingly intact, similar to what we’d see in in Baa and Ari over ten or fifteen years ago, so surviving very well and attracting a very broad variety of ocean wildlife although not huge shoals. Plenty here to keep snorkelers and photographers entertained.
The beach villas are clean, tidy and very well maintained. Tastefully decorated in a accent signature turquoise and off-whites. A very comfortable bed and quality soft furnishings make for a delightful environment to spend your time away from the beach and restaurants.
There’s a well stocked mini-bar for cold drinks and snacks, a Lavazza coffee machine, a kettle and tea for hot drinks.
The bathroom is beautiful and kept spotless by an invisible team who miraculously clean and tidy and rarely ever being seen, I’d have loved to meet them but we never saw them. Its like magic.
There are four destinations for food at the resort.
‘Umami’ is a Japanese restaurant situated along the walkway toward the water villas and overlooking the lagoon. It serves wonderful sushi, sashimi, ramen and other dishes to a very high standard.
‘Gousto’ is an Italian inspired restaurant situated above the pool bar overlooking the pool and ocean. A range of delicious soups, pasta, risotto, and meat and seafood from the grill.
There is also a buffet restaurant called ‘Taste’ which sadly was closed for refurbishment during most of our stay in June 2023, though the team were at pains to stress that they’d be flexible and accommodate any requests for food if we tired of the Umami and Gousto offerings. The taste restaurant opened again toward the end of our stay and offered a range of international dishes. We were only able to eat there once, but was up to the same standard as the other restaurants.
The pool bar is the destination for lunch. Pizzas are great, pasta, salads, calamari, burgers and fish options all delicious.
On our last night we were made to feel extremely special with a anniversary meal on the beach. The team had created the most beautiful setting around the table with artfully placed driftwood, candles in the beach and lights. We chose to have tuna carpaccio, some freshly caught reef fish with a lemon and butter sauce, olives and capers, and dessert was sorbet and ice cream. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience (thank you!).
Evening entertainment is understated, background music and once per week the honestly by far the best weekly Bodu Beru I’ve ever seen in 20 years of visiting the Maldives!
Overall there is a lot to be excited about if you’re thinking of visiting Baglioni Maldives.
It’s a very beautiful and well appointed resort in a wonderful location with great food and where attention to detail matters to it’s friendly and helpful team.

Amazing Italian resort at the excellent natural island with fantastic house reef full of life. I visited 179 islands in Maldives and the house reef here is one of the best I ever seen in Maldives!

It was our first time visiting the Maldives. We stayed in the sunset overwater villa. It was absolutely amazing. The resort, the service, the food all amazing! The breakfast is included in your stay and it a huge buffet with every type of food you can imagine. Everything was absolutely perfect.
your only responsibility is to enjoy your time and experience the beautiful nature of the island. The staff will take care of everything else. They took care of us from the arrival to the airport until the departure.
Starting from the basics, this hotel has it all. Clean and spacious rooms (bungalows), villas, comfortable transportation and logistics, good vibes, and great services offered by the staff.
