⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service from Carlos López & Essenia Cruz! I had the most wonderful experience at the pool bar thanks to Carlos López and Essenia Cruz. They are truly exceptional waiters — warm, attentive, and always one step ahead of what you need. Carlos delivers service with a smile every single time. He remembers your preferences, checks in with genuine care, and makes you feel like a valued guest. Essenia is equally amazing — friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient. She has such a positive energy that instantly brightens your day, and her attention to detail is impeccable. Together, they create a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere that elevates the entire pool bar experience. Their service is top-tier, and they both deserve recognition for the joy and comfort they bring to guests. Highly recommended — they made my stay truly special!

We stayed at barcelo Maya Riviera adults only in early November and had a great time. We loved the buffet and Agave restaurant specifically (we are not fussy with food, we thought everything was great, I had tacos every day!). The beach area is awesome to snorkel and observe coral life, we saw so many types of fish, stingrays, and even a sea turtle. I highly recommend bringing water shoes and a snorkel unless you are ok getting it from the gift shop! We also walked through the grounds and enjoyed playa Mexicana to buy some souvenirs. Staff is great and the hotel is well maintained, pool's clean and room's awesome. We only had 1 day of rain!

Our stay at Barceló Maya Riviera has been an excellent experience overall. The resort itself is beautiful, modern, and very well maintained. The grounds are spotless, the pools are spacious and relaxing, and the beach area is stunning with plenty of spots to unwind. The adults-only atmosphere made it feel calm and upscale, perfect for a getaway. The food options were varied and consistently good, with Dolce Vita standing out as a highlight of our trip. A special shout-out to Alex Ortega and Cristopher Morales our servers at Dolce Vita, who truly elevated our dining experience. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, making us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Their service added a personal touch that made the evening memorable. Staff throughout the resort were polite and helpful, and the level of service was impressive. From check-in to daily interactions, everything felt smooth and well organized. Overall, Barceló Maya Riviera has delivered a relaxing, high-quality vacation experience, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful all-inclusive stay in the Riviera Maya.

Jose Hernandez and Juan Velazquez took excellent care of us. Their service, as well as the food was top shelf throughout the dinner. The hostess Paola, even remembered my allergies from the other night’s visit! I am in fine dining service and I know what creates an exceptional experience - this crew nailed it! I recommended this restaurant to another guest earlier in the day today - I bumped into him on his way out with his wife and he had been thrilled with his experience as well! Please keep up the great work! We look forward to coming back to this resort and this restaurant in the future for our next trip.

This is a great place. A lot of attention to detail . What stood out for me was one staff member who was excellent on all levels Ana the barista in the Bahia bar. Ana remember how I had my coffee from the last time I was here a year ago. Her service and level of energy, personabily is beyond excellent The location is stunning. On an idealized beach. Amazing pools and great food. My room is well appointed with a fantastic view and hot tub to enjoy it from.
