Our butler Hasir was wonderful from the moment that we arrived; he did an outstanding job to make it a very memorable vacation and celebration. The resort is amazing, and even though it was peak season in December 2023 when we stayed, it felt like we almost had the resort to ourselves on most days.
The water is incredibly clear and blue, which made for amazing snorkelling. I would also like to share my appreciation for Marie at the diving centre who took me for my introductory Scuba dive. I was not feeling confident initially, but she made it an amazing experience, the highlight being seeing a turtle feeding.
I would highly recommend the Baros resort to anyone planning to visit the Maldives.

We are genuinely not sure where to start with the high praise regarding this resort and the staff. A seamless journey from the airport to the resort. From the moment you step off the plane and meet your Baros liaison at the airport nothing is a problem. The staff are the most attentive we have ever experienced. The team are friendly beyond belief!
Breakfast is fantastic, a selection that exceeds expectations, the very proud Maldivians look after your every need and are clearly so proud to be working at family owned resort. Water villas are fabulous, the marine centre and spa are run by a well oiled a friendly team. Dinner at any of the restaurant will not disappoint.
We would highly recommend the charter of Nooma, take advantage of the reef snorkelling tour. We saw sharks, turtles the most amazing array of reef fish and a wreck.
This review could be extend to a small book. As travellers who have been to many places and rarely visit twice to ensure we experience as much as possible is it really safe to say that will be returning to this wonderful hotel.
Special mentions must got to Wafig our butler for the week. Ax Zaam the drone pilot taught by god himself, the Nooma crew and the lovely Upti who looked after us at the bar and the restaurant, the wonderful lady at the fruit station for breakfast, but the biggest mention has to goto John, the resort Manager, attentive, funny, helpful and someone who made you feel like you were the only person in the room. Despite being new to the resort we are convinced he will take this resort to the next level with a fabulous team behind him
Thank guys and John we look forwards to welcoming you to the Cotswolds and the Art Kitchen in Warwick x

I finally found the perfect Maldivian resort for me. Greenery, nature, reef, peace, excellent food, professionalism of the staff...
Even the deluxe villas are perfect, but if you want the ultimate experience, my recommendation is the Baros villa with a pool or a water villa with a pool. Luxury and disconnection at its best

A top class resort with excellent service and dining. Gorgeous villas and easily accessible house reef, with great facilities and experiences for a small island. This was our return visit to Baros, this time as a family. Fully recommended in all respects.

The pictures and videos of Maldives that we viewed before our trip did little to prepare us for reality. Maldives is even more stunning in real life. The clarity of the water, the pristine white sand, the many shades of blue in the warm ocean that are ever changing with the time of the day, the colors and variety of marine life and coral. We got to experience all of it in our 5 night trip. And it was magical to say the least. The kind of magic that stays deep within your souls for the rest of your life.
Our resort, Baros Maldives, took it to a different level. Our over water villa was out of this world. Well appointed, private, super comfy bed, great bathroom with incredible views and a fabulous deck that gave us the best sunset. Villa 310 was just amazing.
The three restaurants at Baros were superb as well. We opted for breakfast inclusive deal, which is at the Lime restaurant. The buffet spread is a treat, with excellent coffee and Prosecco, fresh sushi, , curries, fruit, pastries, yogurts, juices, eggs, waffles. The breakfast includes both buffet and a la carte.
Dinner at all the restaurants - Cayenne, Lighthouse and Lime were fantastic. The food was just delightful, and the service was always top notch. The attentiveness, responsiveness and generosity was above par. And that includes the entire staff at Baros. We were there to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and Baros staff went above and beyond to celebrate it with us and make us feel special with an anniversary cake, champagne, and room decoration and so much more!.
Our guided snorkeling trip was other-worldly, unmatched to any other snorkeling we have done before. We highly recommend that every guest take advantage of this experience. The house reef is phenomenal and you can spend hours just hanging out in this calm reef lagoon and enjoying great sights.
Special thanks to our butler, Thulay, who took care of our every need. Also huge thanks to Karan, assistant F&B manager, who treated us to a special dinner at Cayenne on our last night. Under the full moon and right at the edge of the water, we had a most memorable meal of lobster and steak, paired with champagne. And the service made it just phenomenal.
With its golden anniversary coming up later this year, Baros is highly recommended by us. If we find ourselves thinking of Maldives, we would be back here in a heartbeat. A vacation to Baros will fill your heart with gladness and a lifetime of memories.
