This resort is very special because of the people who work here. We have spent almost a week here and every person we were in contact with was just exceptionally friendly. We instantly felt at home. The whole resort is kept extremely tidy and the gardens are stunning. We can only recommend it to anyone who wants to treat him/herself to an extraordinary vacation. We will be back for sure. Our heartfelt thanks go to all the people working in the restaurants and our amazing drivers.

Room: PRO beautiful view, very spacious and very clean! CON no lights on the stairs or in the pool so makes it hard to enjoy at night. Has air conditioning but doesn’t get really cold…maybe ceiling fans would be a great addition.
Service: PRO amazing spa, food good but limited golf carts and bicycles are a welcomed convenience. CON butler service not as good as other locations we’ve stayed, unable to have drinks delivered and room service has a fee per delivery.
Location: absolutely stunning views but no way to get away from the seaweed. Beach had substantial erosion but the resort did a great job trying to make it a comfortable experience and you are able to get in the water without seaweed in your way. It is truly a jungle beach oasis

Best spa I’ve ever been to at a resort! Also the food was the best I have EVER had at a resort! That being said- a lot of the amenities were closed for “construction” which have been closed for a year at least. The infrastructure looks like it’s coming apart. They didn’t have all of their restaurants open so we didn’t get to choose where we ate each night. There was only one restaurant open each night. One bar open during the day which is a HAUL away if you’re not in the presidential suites. The staff was so friendly and attentive, it just wasn’t exactly as i expected.
Also- a woman we met while at the resort had cockroaches in her room and had to be moved to a new room mid-stay due to bugs.

This hotel is not exactly what we expected! We chose it based on the beautiful pictures on the Air Canada vacation website and all the Instagram posts. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite live up to its 5-star rating and doesn’t worth the money we paid !
Everything seems run-down, the beach isn't good for swimming, and they don't clean up the seaweed like other nearby hotels do. We had to take a 3 km walk to find a good spot to swim, and the swimming pools don't even have pumps - they manually add chlorine in the morning. The smell isn't the greatest in the whole resort and there aren't any showers on the beach or by the pools. Some parts of the hotel on the beach seem to be falling apart, but no one seems to be doing anything about it. On the bright side, the room was nice, the staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious. However, the resort could definitely use some renovations and it's not quite up to 5-star standards. Don't be fooled by the pictures or videos online - they're all sponsored content.

Ultimate relaxation getaway! This is our second visit to this resort during September because it's quiet and secluded. We don't like to party, have loud music or constant activities and we appreciate the luxury and boutique aesthetic of this all incisive. If you're looking for ultimate relaxation, quality made to order food, impeccable service, and an exquisite experience, this is your place. They do order excursion activities of you're interested, the spa is top notch, and there's a cenote onsite! Call for a golf cart to pick you up or ride the quaint bicycles around the resort if you're an explorer. Staff is the best, I wish I could call everyone out by name!!
