We paid in advance for 6 nights. Stayed 1 and ran out to search for another hotel. It’s loud!!! All the time!! If your plan is to be in a hotel with horrible out of the box food, diluted drinks, loud music all day long, filled with loud people screaming from one side to the other, tourist traps, a very cold pool and old facilities this is the place for you! All inclusive in the price. If you want to relax, in a quiet place where you can hear the ocean and have good food stay away! The island is beautiful and the people here is super nice, the ocean is amazing in any hotel but this noisy place was just not for us at all!! Not the relaxing get away we were looking for. The staff is nice though they want to sell you packages for everything from the start, it’s their job so nothing against the people personally, they were very nice, but not at all what we wanted and expected.

We were in the preferred section the bar tender I believe you spell Leonelle was the best, top notch service, friendly, always helpful…Claudia was great as well very helpful and nice. Will definitely return because of that experience , but if you go book room 4115 great room good slide down to the preferred pool….food was good but the Italian restaurant was closed so that was the only disappointment. Great coffee shop. This place was not busy and was great. Again I hope they recognize the 2 people I mentioned they deserve it…..see you again

I am going to be completely transparent about this stay. I reserved two swim up ocean front rooms. When I arrived I was informed that the buildings that offer those rooms were extremely damaged by flooding and were not an option. I personally saw the buildings and the water damage is extremely extensive and will take YEARS to complete, they should just tear the buildings down because it's that bad. I was not informed in advance that we would not be accommodated for those rooms. They also did not reach out to marketing companies advertising these rooms to inform them that the rooms are not optional and to have them removed but instead just continue to allow people to pay extra for rooms that do not exist. I was told I would be reimbursed. I was not. It has been impossible to get a refund from the company. This company offers bait and switch or false advertisement for what it offers. I was so disappointed. The room they switched us to was moldy with partially obstructed view of the pool. The service personnel (aside from the managers who blow smoke about how they will make up for the debacle are liars) were exceptional. The food was okay considering its an all inclusive. The beach front and ocean were fantastic. The grounds and upkeep of the hotel are okay. My recommendation if you are considering this property is to go through their own website so you can demand a refund right there and then if they do not honor the room reservation requested. Alternatively just reserve the cheapest room offered since that is ultimately what they will put you up in anyway. I gambled with making reservations here despite the mounting bad reviews. I would say those reviews are generally pretty accurate. I disagree with the bad statements about the staff. The staff, beach and ocean were phenomenal. I just wish they would stop offering rooms that do not exist or overbook the few ocean front that they do have, let people pay the higher fee for those premium rooms then downgrade them after they've made the journey there, then promise to reimburse them but do not. It's pretty unfortunate because I believe the reviews would improve if they did not bait and switch the ocean front rooms or the swim up rooms with cheap non view rooms. If they'd reimbursed me and only charged for the standard room we were actually assigned I'd have written a better review, but I feel very taken advantage of and you will too.

Only giving it a two star rating because of the service from staff & the ocean front snorkeling which was beautiful. - Our room was nice but had to put in multiple maintenance requests. Bathroom door coming off hinges & the bathtub pipe was broken & unusable. - Most restaurants were closed majority of the time we were there even though the app would state they were open. The only restaurant that was worth while was Bordeaux but only for dinner. - Hotel was pretty old & unfortunately the rain / humidity was damaging the building heavily. Our last day there hallways ceilings were pealing off in chunks which was concerning. - Not much to do & didn't advertise when they would do events which was disappointing. Paid for preferred club but didn't see much of a difference in preferred versus regular. Overall the staff was very friendly & helpful, but the irregular restaurant hours & subpar food made it kind of disappointing. Won't be visiting this resort again & won't be recommending. Stay at Secrets in Puerto Vallarta for better experience, activities, food, & drinks.

I honestly don’t even know how to string the right words together to warn you strongly enough: do NOT stay at this hotel. Not once did I meet another guest who was happy with their stay. Every time I walked through the lobby, it was full of people complaining. If the 3.7 stars don’t scare you off, maybe this list will: 1. The staff are rude, dismissive, and downright condescending. 2. The rooms are a nightmare of technical failures: no hot water, random power outages, broken AC, there’s no elevators—you name it. 3. Restaurants open whenever they feel like it. No reservations needed, yet you’ll wait at least 35 minutes every time. 4. The place is infested with mosquitos. They even shut down outdoor tables because of it, cutting capacity in half. When we tried to buy their ridiculously overpriced repellent, their card system was down. 5. Common areas were filthy for days—see my photos. 6. The so-called smoking area was literally falling apart. 7. The food? Mediocre at best, and it takes over an hour to get a plate. In short: save yourself the misery. This place should honestly shut down until they get their act together. Just don’t come. I’m begging you.
