Lovely resort. We had an amazing two weeks here. The room was peaceful and we slept like babies. The fridge was always full of water and beer. 4 pools. But I think what makes this resort is its people the lovely staff that are attentive and friendly thanks artemio, Wendy who works so hard and is a beautiful person and axel. The food at Bordeaux is delicious and we loved the cooking experience on the rooftop fun fun. Loved secret aura.

The only reason I give this hotel a one star is to post the review. Otherwise 0/5. This is by far the worst secrets hotel and beyond that the worst resort all inclusive I have ever stayed on. This should be considered an unkept nursing home. The ambiance was HORRIFIC. This is far from a 5 star hotel. I was contemplating the whole trip on booking another room at ANOTHER HOTEL. Let's begin with the pictures posted are NOT accurate. The hotel is aged and NOT well kept. The conceirge half way did their job. Our bags were collected and notified them we booked 3 PREFERRED rooms. We were walked to the "preferred lounge" where it took FOREVERRRRRRR to check in. Only one room bags were brought to the room and after hours of waiting, we finally asked was anyone coming to show us to our room and we were told we needed to go back to the front, pick up our own bags and find our room. There is NO point in upgrading to preferred, because the preferred pool is FAR and EVERYONE HAS ACCESS. There is NO pool side bar at this pool instead you have to go in the lounge which again even if you are not preferred if someone opens the door and you follow in, you have access to it. The rooms were not properly cleaned. My tub was absolutely filthy. Beyond the filth, it was falling apart. When it rained our room partially flooded which we had to build a barrier with towels. The toliet kept clogging and would take hours for someone to come fix the plumbing. A few of my family members room were beach front and they were asked to turn off the music speaker at 5:30pm. Which was not loud but the hotel maintained the public areas including the beach in front RADIO SILENT!!!!!! All the pools were silent. Hot tub was COLD and only fit 4 people comfortably. Super small. One hot tub the whole resort. The food was horrible from the room service to the restaurants!!!!! Unseasoned, low selection!!!! The hibachi is THE WORSE PART! ONLY One table around the hibachi!!! The shrimp was NOT fresh, the cheapest rubber, no season. rice overcooked and mushy and to make matters worse 5 of my family members fell ILL!!!! Severe diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting!!! The public bathrooms ALSO had poor plumbing!!! There were several danger zones where the floors were soaked and no wet floor sign. I was injured by slipping when I walked to the public bathroom. Knee was bust open. Did not receive an apology and yet and still no wet floor sign to prevent future falls. I am shocked that this is considered a secrets after all the mishaps which I disappointedly see in several reviews.

Reviews are truly subjective. However, each experience is different by individuals and even groups. Travel with the right people and everything will fall in place! Celebrating a BIG 50th bday… redirected from Jamaica to Cozumel (due to unforeseen circumstances). OMG! This resort and staff took special heart-care for us … shout-out to Gabriel, Manager of Concierge made it happen! Hibachi experience was amazing! Treat people right and they will treat you right! Rooms, amazingly clean! Food great! Now, Resort is a quieter side; but again, make your fun with the right people. If you’re looking for hype. Larger group would suggest a different Secrets. But, again - this ONE gave our family a memorable experience!!

Do not book here this place is a pit the staff is awful and u friendly our room in the preferred suites with swim out and ocean view had multiple light switches that didn't work ac that didn't work and we had to ask the made to make up our room because she "forgot". I have been to other secrets in Mexico and this is a HUGE disappointment over PV, or Cabo. Staff attitude is to do the very least possible there is no staff poolside for food or drink and we waited 29 minutes after being seated to be served coffee and get our order taken. Do not stay here.

We were in the preferred section the bar tender I believe you spell Leonelle was the best, top notch service, friendly, always helpful…Claudia was great as well very helpful and nice. Will definitely return because of that experience , but if you go book room 4115 great room good slide down to the preferred pool….food was good but the Italian restaurant was closed so that was the only disappointment. Great coffee shop. This place was not busy and was great. Again I hope they recognize the 2 people I mentioned they deserve it…..see you again
