Crown Paradise Club All-Inclusive Resort Cancun

My family of 12 stayed at the Crown Paradise Club in Cancun for a week January 2025. Everything exceeded my expectations! The food, the service and the beach were incredible! The family suites are 2 levels with 2 bathrooms and plenty of room for everyone. My room had a great view of the sunrises 🌅, such a bonus. The staff were friendly and polite and ready to help at anytime. The Italian restaurant and the French cuisine restaurant had the best food, as did the well stocked buffet. The bar staff could make any drink I requested, not just the ones on their menu. I highly recommend this resort if you're traveling to Cancun with family. It's even a great option without children. Some areas are getting older and seen better days, but I wasn't there to be wowed, but yet I was.

Had a great vacation with our 3 kids, but not sure we would recommend this resort, nor would we return. Definitely would not return if it was just an adult trip. Pros: - staff was nice and friendly - kids had a blast, enjoyed the water slides and kids area, the kid drinks at the bars - beautiful beach, felt safe as the lifeguards seemed quite proactive - fair selection of restaurants - fairly clean Cons: - our bathroom door open properly. My daughter was scared the first time she went in, as she got stuck. Even my partner wasn't able to open it. He requested 2x throughout approx 24 h and nothing was done. I happened to respond to an Expedia email asking for feedback - all of a sudden the staff responded immediately and had the door fixed - no conditioner, no facial tissues - very loud, almost all rooms are exposed to the main lobby area which can get very noisy - it's impossible to get a seat by poolside or beach - people reserve with towels starting 5 am, but leave their towels there, on empty chairs for hours upon hours, sometimes (often?) never ever to return - they ran out of fresh towels 3 of the 4 days we were there by afternoon - they charge if you lose your bracelet, charge if you lose your towel card, charge for room service - the main buffet's food was mediocre at best. There was a good selection but poor quality overall. It was edible and fine since the selection was quite vast

We haven’t even left the resort yet and I’m ready to write this review. This has been such a disappointing experience. From the staff to the food, we have been extremely underwhelmed. The resort is extremely understaffed and there are lines for everything… breakfast and dinner buffets and the only bar by the main pool. I feel like I’ve spent most of my week just waiting in line (for lackluster food and weak drinks). The staff that they do have are overworked, rude and in accommodating. This includes the bartenders, servers and the people working at the reception desk. The cleanliness of the hotel is also concerning. The bathroom towels and pool towels all have stains and a weird scent to them. The plates, silverware and cups are seem like they’ve just been rinsed under water and put back out. There are never enough towels at the pool so you are stuck sitting on the dirty chairs until you get one. The pool water is freezing. It’s unbearable. The labels on the food were always incorrect so if you have allergies or dietary restrictions you need to be extremely careful. I would definitely not recommend this hotel and we will never be coming back. There are many other great hotels in Cancun.

We can't wait to come back here hopefully someday! Such a memorable experience! I was anxious prior to arriving because there were more than a few negative scathing reviews, but when we actually got here and spent a few days, we've had a very different experience. This is a very large beautiful, gorgeous blue water beach resort with such hard working, very attentive people; most of which are just so kind. The food took me a day or almost two to appreciate, but it's good. It's not the same level of quality as what you would get on a Carnival ship, but what they have, I would say, is plenty good enough; and there is certainly A LOT of it! We have not paid for a meal this entire trip; we haven't had to because it's all here. The room is fine; it's not great but it's good enough and it's clean- and we never had issues with AC. If you have kids that would actually use the water activities, or maybe you're a parent who likes that, I can't imagine a better resort really. It's all here... even with limitless food and drinks at the pool side! so basically a buffet by the water. My wife loved the Spa and the cost for the quality level is about 50% of the standard Texas rate. It really is great. Housekeeping staff are so good! Lovely professionals and oh just so prompt. The three most negative things I can say, and it's maybe not a big deal is that (1.) because it's such a large resort with so much happening and so much to do, you are on your own. There's no one just standing around waiting for you to ask questions and guide you the right way. nope. and good luck at the front desk because they are just so overwhelmed that you may have to line up just to ask the simplest questions (e.g. where and what and when). We had such a tough time even just finding our room on our own. There is a QR code that was given to us at check in that's so subtle that we missed it that leads to a static landing page that has a simple schedule of things. By the way, and again, because it's such a large resort, the map is tough to comprehend; you really have to stare at it, for a while, for it to kind of make sense. (2.) to get the best experience here I recommend that you learn conversational Spanish. it's going to be annoying and maybe difficult for you to get the most out of this experience without that. Now, you can get by, but again, to get the best experience out of this, you should really know conversational Spanish. (3.) there's no Internet. They will say that there is Internet and that is free and your device/a will in fact show a router available ("Crown Paradise") but, get it out of your mind before you get here that you will have Internet access via the resort. I will not be able to stress this point out enough and I won't be able to state this truth more plainly: effectively, there is no Internet available. While you are here, you're on your own at the mercies of your carrier. We are with Verizon from the US and Verizon works good enough here for stream and productivity work-- but no file uploads; virtually no chance you'll be able to sync images. Otherwise, we can't wait to come back here someday and we hope for that privilege. We absolutely Love Crown Paradise club Cancun! Such a very memorable experience. with much gratitude from our family until we see you guys again!

What is great, are the drinks and the fact they have a drinks menu for kids. Bring your own mugs! Lower your expectations. Even though the personnel is super friendly and proactive, the facilities are a bit outdated and need a lot of maintenance. You can hear your room neighbors very EASY! So, bring your good night tricks with you, you might need them. Food is much better than I expected. Arrive early to the buffet to get the best plates. Service and personnel are always attentive.
