Awesome setting, we had a little trouble with a loud DJ at the beach by our room but the concierge staff and manager handled it quickly and professionally.
The lagoon tour was free and cool. Saw an American crocodile, tarpon, and all the birds. The cenote on the nature trail is a fun little tour too. Nice calm nature vibe except for that party. Getting from the lagoon area to the beach on the bicycles is calm and simple. Staff was helpful and kind.

The resort is amazing! It feels just like being in those Corona commercials and Weekend at Bernie's at the same time! Everything is beautiful here. The suites are elaborate, fit for a king, and the views are unbelievable! The white sand beach and blue waters are phenomenal! This was definitely a great and memorable experience to get away. Thank you, Andaz Mayakoba, for the amazing stay!

One day I will move here full time!
From check-in to check-out we had an amazing time. All of the staff is very friendly and inviting. Their hospitality was amazing when we stayed for the full week in August! They have great food, drinks, and plenty of water and resort activities. It was so easy to book reservations and activities with their concierge team though WhatsApp. How people can come here and not appreciate where they are at and give low reviews is disappointing to see. Some of the guests though are ridiculous and embarrassing so I’m not surprised. Seeing a grown man yelling at the staff to get them food in the middle of a storm down pour while in front of their kids was pathetic. Regardless the entire staff and resort is AMAZING. Ignore the haters on here

I'm a travel agent in the US and a destination specialist for Cabo San Lucas. I've been to Cancun before but was so honored to be a guest at this property. I'm glad I visited as I fell in love. From white sandy beaches, to restaurants, service and experiences this resort has it all. I highly recommend this property for a destination wedding, girls trip, romantic getaway, or family trip. You won't be let down. A 40 min drive from CUN airport this place has it all. The rooms are spacious, food was amazing, and the employees truly know how to deliver exceptional service.

It’s disappointing to have to leave this review, especially given that just two years ago, I would have easily rated this hotel five stars.
**TL;DR:** The hotel has dramatically declined in quality, with limited and misleadingly advertised restaurant options, overpriced and poor-quality food and beverages, rundown rooms and amenities, and an overall vibe that falls far short of a five-star experience. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere; if you're already booked, dine at the other properties in Mayakoba instead.
Two years ago, we had a fantastic experience here. The rooms were beautiful, the staff warm and welcoming, the food was of high quality, and the value for money was excellent. Naturally, we were excited to return, but this time, we were met with disappointment on all fronts. The only redeeming feature was the friendly golf cart drivers.
**Limited Restaurant Options:** The hotel's website falsely advertises the dining options available. There are only two restaurants open for lunch, neither of which offers air conditioning—a surprising omission for a hotel of this caliber, especially in 33-degree weather.
**Overpriced, Low-Quality Food & Beverage:** The food quality has plummeted. Everything we tried at the beach restaurant was bland and barely edible, with prices that are simply outrageous. For example, we paid $8 for a cup of bad-tasting coffee.
**Run-Down Rooms and Amenities:** The condition of the rooms has noticeably deteriorated. Our TV was broken, paint was chipping, and the towels provided were dirty.
**Overall Experience and Value for Money:** having spent a fortune here per night, including taxes and fees, BEFORE any F&B! For this price, the experience should have been exceptional, let alone charging us an extra $25/day rental fee for a bike with a child wagon.
Sadly, this hotel no longer offers the luxury experience it once did.
