Guests were very impressed by the service given by staff members here. They reported the employees were always willing to go out of their way to make things right and seemed to do everything very professionally and cheerfully.
Guests gave favourable feedback about the breakfasts here. Specifically, they said the selection of items was extensive, and that staff members worked hard to make sure foods were replenished as needed. When getting your first meals of the day here, you can expect to feel satisfied for a while afterwards.
Ideal for enjoying water sports or just stretching out on the sand, this hotel caters to beach lovers. Guests often stayed here precisely because of that perk, and were not disappointed by the beach access.
Guests complained the rooms here are in need of extra attention. They said everything looks outdated, and some items in the room were broken or otherwise in need of replacement. However, they did clarify that the hotel has recently changed ownership, and that some renovations appear to be ongoing.
Numerous reviews discussed how there are many critters around the hotel, such as rats and lizards, and that sometimes these animals got into the rooms. Furthermore, during certain times of the year, the property seems to struggle with a persistent mosquito problem.
Occasionally, guests mentioned the pool suffers from a lack of upkeep. They cited things like broken tiles and general uncleanliness of the water, and sometimes, these faults made it so guests did not feel comfortable going swimming in the pool, or letting their kids do it.

Overall great. The free breakfast could of been better as there wasn't much available. Pools are pretty small but nicely done. You can tell the building is in need of renovation as several sections are falling apart unfortunately. They have 24 hour food service which is good. Delivered promptly and good tasty food. Our room was nice but bathroom was old. Bed was very big but not perfectly flat it was lower in middle.

It is an older hotel and in its day would have been very grand. Its grounds were like something out of tomb raider or temple of doom. The pool is lovely and the spa facilities were very clean and tidy. If you like older hotels to modern clean line and minimal then this would be a good choise.
The staff were very friendly and helpful polite at all times towards guests
There is a beach across the road with plenty of water sports

A lovely resort but seems a little run down. It's obviously been around for a while with lovely gardens which have grown over time but some of the rooms definitely need a lick of paint and the ventilation system for some of the rooms smells damp. They were renovating some of the rooms which we were there so there is work being done but with being aware before you book. The grounds are massive au be prepared to walk to your room. There are two pools - one within the grounds and one across the road next to their Thai restaurant Tao and just set back from the beach.

Great staff working here. The name changed today, so my review may be off point as of now. However I must say the staff goes above and beyond here. The resort has undergone renovations and they are still working on them. The changes that have happened in the 4 days we've been here have been extensive. New paint, new poolside beds, new decor, new front desk. It's been nice to see the evolvement. We have booked for a week and would come back for sure. The spa is very well priced and has a big menu list. We are not all inclusive, so I can't speak to that menu. However, the breakfasts and room service have been top notch.
