    The resort is absolutely stunning, and big thanks to Morkey—he truly went above and beyond! That said, a few things did take away from the experience. The food options were repetitive across the restaurants, and my smart toothbrush went missing during the stay—with no luck finding it. It took several follow-ups to get it sorted, and I felt the management lacked experience in handling it. Also, both check-in and check-out dragged on for over 30 minutes, which felt a bit much for a place like this. Beautiful place with potential, but service needs work. Many other Maldives resorts offer much better, and this one didn’t meet the mark.

    We stayed 4 nights at the newly opened Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives. The location is beautiful and the speedboat transfer from Malé (about 40 minutes) was luxurious both ways. We booked a Two-Bedroom Grand Beach Villa, which was ideal for our family with young kids. While the resort has great potential, it’s not yet operating at a true 5-star level. Small details were missing. like no laundry bag or branded slippers and we didn’t have a dedicated point of contact. Communication was mainly through an app (HandiGo), but responses were often delayed. Unfortunately, we weren’t properly briefed on the villa’s inclusions. For example, the free 30-minute spa massage was fully booked by the time we tried to reserve it. The complimentary floating breakfast also required 24-hour notice, which we weren’t told in advance. The kids’ club and Centara Mirage waterpark were the highlight, our children (7 and 5) absolutely loved them. That part made the trip worthwhile. We had also arranged a birthday surprise for my husband (decor and cake), which was offered free of charge, but the surprise was missed due to delays, despite following up multiple times through the app and by phone. Service throughout the resort was inconsistent. sometimes fast, sometimes very slow. Dinner at The Gallery felt rushed, and our tandoori dinner experience was very slow, we have received our food an hour after we ordered, even though we booked it 3 hours ahead. Buggy service was also unreliable, with waits of up to 20 minutes at times. Overall, the resort is great for families with kids, but not ideal for couples or those expecting refined luxury. For the price (especially for a two-bedroom villa), I believe there are better options in the Maldives in terms of service and overall experience.

    We came all the way from Saudi Arabia, and it was our first time in the Maldives and I can honestly say it was the best vacation of our lives! We stayed for 7 days and tried both the beach and overwater villas. Each had its own unique charm, and both were truly beautiful. We also really appreciated the great privacy the resort offers since it is new, it made the experience feel even more exclusive and relaxing. One thing that needs improvement is the housekeeping service. It should be monitored and upgraded to meet 5 star resort standards. Toothpaste stains were consistently left behind after cleaning, and amenities were never replenished throughout our stay. On a positive note, the staff were incredibly friendly especially the Kids Club and Ezon team, as well as our lovely butler Joy (the souvenir in the photos was made by her as a gift to our daughter 🥹). Special thanks as well to the gentleman at The Club his exceptional service, passion for his work, and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable! The food was great, though it could use more variety, and we recommend hiring a professional barista to elevate the coffee experience. Hookah was also offered upon request, which we really appreciated ❤️ Overall, we absolutely loved the resort, and I personally had an amazing first impression of the Maldives. We’ll definitely be coming back!

    I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The reception was excellent and the service was outstanding. The Bluefin restaurant was very good, and the staff there were extremely kind and welcoming. I had such an enjoyable time with the activities available, and everyone was very nice and friendly, even in the restaurant. Special thanks to Amjad at the gallery restaurant and all his staff was nice and friendly , and Hanna at Best Dive for the water activities , they all made my stay so memorable. Also, the room service team who served me in room 108 were fantastic. The Best Dive experience was wonderful she was so kind, and it was such a lovely experience. The place is perfect for kids, very clean, and the service is great. I would definitely come back and repeat the experience. One small suggestion it would be great to have a bit more DJ music to liven up the atmosphere. The spa service is good as well . Highly recommended!

    I just wanted to share my experience about one of the most incredible islands I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel was absolutely fantastic – it was immaculately clean, with housekeeping checking in more than once a day to ensure everything was spotless and perfectly in order. That level of attention to detail made a big difference and really added to the sense of comfort and luxury. Room service was another highlight – not only was it impressively fast, but the food was genuinely delicious. Whether I was ordering a quick bite or a full meal, everything was prepared to perfection, beautifully presented, and delivered with such warmth and professionalism. Staying in and enjoying meals in the comfort of my room became one of the best parts of the stay. The island offered a great selection of water activities – from snorkeling to paddleboarding and more – and everything felt incredibly safe and well-organized. The staff took safety seriously while still making the experiences fun and exciting, which gave me the confidence to try new things and truly enjoy the beautiful waters. The resort’s main swimming pool was stunning – large, clean, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery, it was the perfect place to unwind and take in the island vibes. I also loved the smaller pool located just by the rooms; it was ideal for a quick and peaceful swim at any time of the day. Honestly, every aspect of this trip was spot-on. The combination of exceptional service, luxurious amenities, natural beauty, and peaceful atmosphere created a truly unforgettable experience. I felt pampered, relaxed, and completely at ease throughout my stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway, and I’m already dreaming of going back someday.
