Late review – apologies. My husband and I stayed at COMO Cocoa Island in December for 4 nights. Unfortunately, that just wasn’t enough time, we wished we’d stayed longer! This place is HEAVEN ON EARTH! Firstly, it’s only a 35 min boat ride to the island from Male. We were met immediately at the airport, then taken directly to the boat and off we went. From the minute you step off the boat, you are met with a wonderful warmth and welcoming manner by everyone. The island is perfect. We took the early morning flight and were checked into our villa immediately. Our first night was spent in one of the Dhoni Water Villas, which was beautiful. The décor is minimalist, clean and white, which we loved! You could lie in your bed and look straight out to the water. These villas are beautiful, spacious, and deliciously comfortable. The next day we moved to a One Bed Pool Villa, another stunning villa with more luxury. The staff are all amazing, Muru took great care of use throughout our stay, and we loved Ravi’s fabulous cocktails. The food was incredible! The snorkelling is amazing, the best spot is the deeper pool out from the pool area. We saw turtles every day, reef sharks, and the whole cast from ‘Finding Nemo’. Dolphins were seen a number of times off the island. The water is crystal clear and we love seeing the coral conservation work been done. We did some paddle boarding and kayaking, more amazing and friendly staff at the Water Sports Centre. This is a 5th trip to the Maldives and this by far has been the best experience, we are booking our next visit soon. Can’t wait to return! S&M Dalton

We had an amazing stay at COMO Cocoa Island in June. The intimate island gives a boutique hotel feeling which we really enjoyed. The views all around the island are incredible and the reef offers amazing snorkelling opportunities. The food was delicious with plenty of healthy options. Our villa was super clean and the service from check in to check out was very friendly and smooth. Highly recommend this beautiful island which is easy to get to from Male!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at COMO Cocoa Island, a luxurious resort in the Maldives. I stayed in a Dhoni Water Villa, which was spacious and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The villa had a private deck with stunning views of the ocean, and it was just steps away from the beach. I went snorkeling to the reef in front of the villa and was amazed by the variety of fish and coral I saw. The water was crystal clear and the visibility was excellent. I also enjoyed swimming in the infinity pool and relaxing on the sun loungers. The food at the resort was fantastic. I enjoyed food at the main restaurant, The staff were friendly and helpful, The island is small and gives a laidback feeling. It's the perfect place to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I would highly recommend COMO Cocoa Island to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing vacation in the Maldives.

Stayed here with my family during my recent visit to Maldives and had the most splendid experience. Right from picking up at the airport to dropping us off, it has been a seamless and memorable journey. This hotel is about a 40 minute speed boat ride from airport and the part I absolutely loved is how they provide wet face towels and refreshing water on every ride. It made us feel so special. The staff is kind, polite, warm, accommodating and very helpful. The villas are over water and there's direct access to the lagoon. The space is clean, luxurious, well-maintained and just beautiful! You are surrounded by water and evenings by the deck are very soothing. You can also witness a beautiful sunset from the deck. Since we are veg, the staff and chefs were kind enough to create some veg options for us and they were all delicious! The menu is vast and the desserts are scrumptious! There are multiple activities available - some are complimentary and some paid. You'll get the daily activity list and can choose accordingly. We went for the shark adventure snorkeling and got to see white tip and blacktip reef sharks. It was such a thrilling and insane experience. I definitely recommend it! Huge shoutout to Eddy - the diving instructor who helped and guided us throughout and even shot some amazing underwater videos for us. It's an adventure I'll never forget. You can also explore their house reef which is alive with vibrant coral colors and abundant marine life and turtles. Another must. The sunset cruise is exceptional and I witnessed the best sunset of my life. Don't miss this too. This place is prefect for families and for couples. There's so much for everyone and there are zero complaints. Loved it and can't wait to be back again!

Best experience in Maldives with this amazing boutique hôtel ! We had a villa on the water with a direct access to the lagoon. Amazing view and experience with Turtles and Manta Ray while snorkelling. The food and the team were absolutely welcoming as well as the Management. I highly recommend this retreat where we found peace and beauty.
