We stay 4 nights. The front desk was amazing. Super friendly and accommodating. We felt the hotel was a wonderful value. Had a couple very delicious room services. And you really can't beat the price. It was close to the airport. Very easy to get there after a long flight. We would stay there again .
Thanks to front desk Miss Hana

OMG could it get any worse. It is a disgrace to the IHG brand and the star rating system.
When we arrived the lobby looked very impressive and I thought we had arrived at a lovely hotel but the issues we had have shown that first impressions can be deceiving.
The maintenance has been allowed to slip badly. Clearly, repairs are only undertaken when guests complain. It was plain to see when we arrived that the toilet flusher needed replacing but when the toilet stopped working the service person pulled the flusher off the wall and fiddled inside it to make it work. Later the flusher came off the wall completely. Then they fixed it properly.
We couldn't turn the shower on as the knobs were almost seized up. Another repair job required.
We were asked if we wanted our room serviced!! Of course we did. Isn't that why you go to a 5* hotel and not an unserviced rental?
Two people were staying in the room - and the last of 3 nights staying housekeeping thought we should share one towel!!
I did ask for compensation as we had prepaid for the accommodation and breakfast and we were given free lunch and dinner in the buffet restaurant. The food there is minimal and not great. I didn't ask for a new room as once we started having issues I read other reviews of people who had mouldy rooms several times even after shifting rooms and at least ours didn't smell too bad.
The hotel is also in a rather unsavoury part of town, dirty streets and grotty shops.
Don't book here.

I recently stayed at your hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was not up to the standard I expected from a Crowne Plaza Dubai property, particularly with the breakfast service. I’d like to provide some detailed feedback in the hopes that it can help improve future guest experiences.
1. Breakfast Service and Live Counter Issues:
Slow Service at the Live Counter: One of the main issues I encountered was with the live cooking station. The wait time was excessively long, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and under-prepared. Despite the minimal crowd, it took an unreasonable amount of time to get a simple order prepared.
Staff Efficiency: The staff at the breakfast counter seemed inattentive and disorganized. They didn’t acknowledge guests promptly, and requests were either forgotten or delivered after a significant delay.
Food Quality: The quality of the items at the live counter was not up to par. The preparation seemed rushed, and the food was either undercooked or overdone, which made the overall dining experience unpleasant.
2. General Service Issues:
Lack of Attention to Detail: It appeared that some staff members were not as attentive to guests as they should have been, which further impacted the service experience.
Overall Experience: While I did have expectations of a high-quality experience, especially from a 5 start rated hotel chain, I was left disappointed. The service and the food both fell short, which affected my overall stay.

I have known this hotel for more than 20 years having frequented various functions years past. As an overnight guest I stayed this past week for 2 nights. The hotel quirky and dated and requires maintenance. Further I was advised by reception that they only do daily cleaning upon request… told not on check in but when I waited a while for housekeeping. The TV connection in room spotty at best and I’m unsure what stations they have. My room had no iron nor hair dryer these too had to be requested. I saw stained walls and carpets in the room I was initially allocated and the room smelled poorly as such requested to be moved. This is not a 5 star hotel but rather 3 at best and as an IHG hotel needs to be in better condition than what it is.

We checked into this hotel for a brief stay as a pass over. The location was good. Hotel management took care that we were comfortable and guided us well as we had many questions since it was our first trip to Dubai. Ms. Diya in particular was extremely helpful at the reception and very patient in answering all our queries. That helped to make our stay more pleasant.
