This is a nice enough resort. I just felt like a older beach style resort type place. Not a theme park place. We are also used to a king bed so the beds seemed small and firm. We were also surprised by the stairs, so if you are anywhere except the 1st floor be prepared to lug your luggage upstairs. Another bummer was there was a bright porch lite that shined through the huge peep hole in the door and the bathroom window. It seemed very quiet. It's alright but I wouldn't stay there again.

I’ve stayed here at least 6 times and have had a great experience the other times. This time it was a different story. Every day loud gas engines rolled by starting at early as 5:18am. Three of the days they were leaf blowing for at least 30 minutes with 2-3 guys to maintain the golf course. In my neighborhood you can’t make this much noise until 7am. Changing rooms isn’t always an option as there are rooms being renovated and any room on the golf course which runs through the resort has the same problem. There are also electric options that are way quieter now. It’s time to upgrade or stay somewhere else if you enjoy sleeping in on vacation.
For the stay the staff was great. Our trash stayed empty and we received towels on day 4 of our stay as scheduled. We asked for some more laundry detergent as we needed to do a third load and the housekeeper brought it immediately.
The large pool was great and was a blast and the other pools were quieter when we needed that. If they can fix the noise issue it is a great place to stay.

Very large rooms for Disney and it’s so nice having a kitchen and laundry. We were on the third floor so it was very quiet but lots of steps. The pools are very nice but main pool only opens at 10am which we found to be a bit late. Food on-site good. Location is very central to Disney sites. However you can no longer walk to Disney springs which is a bit of a pain-Saratoga springs has a better location in that regard. The buses were inconsistent and 2/3 days that we used them we had a 35 min wait. It also takes a while to get out of the complex. So we found it easier to drive most days. Overall nice stay.

Big, spacious rooms with a balcony. There are plenty of pools. Food options are awesome. We loved both Goods To Go and Olivia's. The resort is big and really spread out, but that wasn't a big issue for us. We thoroughly loved and enjoyed our stay here.

Old Key West is a very restful Disney resort. It’s very laid back, quiet and comfortable. Having only bus service was not an issue because the busses were never crowded and everyone had seats. The only issue some may find a problem is there are no elevators. We had four adults and didn’t have a problem carrying things up to our second floor room. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and we had a large balcony overlooking the water. Old Key West is very close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios but getting to the Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom will take some time. Our room service was very good and quick to respond to our needs. So if you’re looking for restful Disney accommodations I highly recommend Old Key West.
