Disney’s Contemporary Resort is hands down one of the best resorts we’ve stayed at in Walt Disney World! The location cannot be beat—you can literally walk to Magic Kingdom in under 10 minutes, or hop on the monorail right inside the hotel. The views of Cinderella’s Castle and the nightly fireworks from our room were unforgettable. The rooms are modern, clean, and very family-friendly, with plenty of space for strollers and toddler gear. The dining is excellent—Chef Mickey’s is perfect for kids to meet their favorite characters without waiting in long park lines, and California Grill offers an incredible dinner and fireworks view for adults. The pool and splash areas are great for little ones, and the resort shops carry all the essentials in case you forget something.

Dear Disney’s Contemporary Resort Team, I’m writing to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the incredible care, kindness, and magic you showed my family during our recent stay. After enduring an incredibly difficult two years filled with challenges and heartache, we arrived at your resort in need of rest, comfort, and a little light—and what we found was so much more than we ever expected. From the moment we stepped through your doors, we felt genuinely seen and cared for. Every cast member we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported. Troy, Jaime, and Katie were on our floor and treated us like family. We instantly loved them. It wasn’t just the outstanding service or the beautiful surroundings (which were both exceptional); it was the warmth, the attention to detail, and the sincere kindness that touched us most. You gave our family something we hadn’t felt in a long time: joy without worry. For the first time in a while, we were able to breathe, to smile easily, and to simply be together in a space that felt safe and special. That is something we will never forget. Our family had such a great experience staying here. The rooms are modern and a great size for our family of 5. We enjoyed watching the light show from our balcony. We stayed on the club level and had lounge access. This provided breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks that we were all happy with. I highly recommend staying on the club level. The walk to Magic Kingdom is easy and convenient. Riding the monorail to Epcot was nice, but involved a transfer.

This was my first time in the garden suites. The rooms are super well themed and very spacious. The room has an incredible modern and clean aesthetic. It is also not a heavy lift to walk to the Magic Kingdom which is a huge benefit not having to wait in transportation lines. It is not a stretch for me to recommend this resort.

This was an absolutely fabulous treat for our family of 5, in the club level 1 bedroom suite and we had the end room close to Magic Kingdom itself, with views that made us gasp! The 2 balcony's were useful to watch the fireworks from one night and the club level lounge food offerings were enjoyed immensely by the whole family! Thanks Megan for your hard work in keeping the food and drink filled for everyone on the 14th floor, including we 5!
