This is a VERY popular place to stay. There were tons of folks here in the lazy river. The water was not cold and it was relaxing to just float around. Although, it did get a bit too crowded at times, but it cleared out at lunch and suppoer time, The golf courses also had people playing every day. We had a room with a second bedroom and it was quite nice. Very convenient location being so close to Disney. You will be asked to join a sales pitch after checking in. They will give you something to join this sales pitch. Join understanding they are going to try to pressure you to buy, but just remember you can leave at any time. If we didn't have to deal with the sales pitch I would rate this place five stars.

Great place, close to parks, lots of pools and activities if your not going to the parks, all staff that we interacted with were friendly and accommodating, and a good value. We stayed in a two bedroom villa and it was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, with a screened in patio and view of the golf course. It was quiet and private, and the restaurants were very good. They also have a huge lazy river (bring your own tubes).

There is just so much to do here that you won't be bored! And there's things for any age to enjoy. I also love that a lot of amenities stay open later to accommodate later arrivals and to really get a full day's worth of enjoyment. Plus, there's so many shops and restaurants here also, making it to where you really don't have to leave for anything. And one of the best things they offer is the shuttle system! They have many shuttle stops and it runs all day so you never have to worry about parking at each place, they just drop you off and pick you up from right in front of everything.

I'm an owner with the property. My only complaint is ..it is no longer private. The guests have taken over. River island was just plain dirty.. unaccompanied kids everywhere.. bark all through the water. Both hot tubs were low and scummy too. Guests don't know our rules or customs. This is not the property my parents bought into over 30 years ago. It's sad because I grew up here. My villa looks outdated as can be. Curtains from 90s, carpet that belongs in a bowling alley, just to get started. I would have thought the money brought in by holiday Inn vacations would be used to keep the property nice.. not just expand. And for God'sake will you please explain the rules to guests. It's so stupid how they hoard towels and save chairs even though it's posted on every pool. Daily it's been a thing for years. Staff never does anything to retain or peace or protect property value.. Point in fact I saw lawn maintenance out by my place sitting around in the shade and acted like they were working when an owner passed by. Unfortunate that they didn't maintain standards that were promised.

High pressure sales from the resort are the only reason not getting 5 stars. Fantastic time, great amenities. Worth the money they'll try to time share the hell out of you but I get it. HAVE FUN!! It's close to all major attractions, beach drive up to an hour, solid location with lots to do.
