This may be my favorite hotel, ever! My family has stayed here twice and we loved it each time! The boat to and from the Magic Kingdom is so fun and a great way to get there. Busses take you to other locations and they are quick and easy to find. The Roaring Fork is a great mobile ordering spot on site and the main restaurant is so fun and the staff is hilarious! This site has an amazing pool and you can see some of the fireworks from Magic Kingdom from it! If you have never been to FL, stay here!

There's nothing not to love about the Wilderness Lodge. We stayed in the DVC (Disney Vacation Club) Boulder Ridge Villas for the first time and really appreciated how much quieter the building was compared to the main building. Of course, the Cast Members everywhere were as lovely and helpful as always. Everything was clean and smelled great. Requests for anything we needed were met quickly and graciously. The Lodge's proximity to the Magic Kingdom makes it special, but its look, style, and vibe set it apart from the other Magic Kingdom resorts.

We had a great week at the Wilderness Lodge. The room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping made sure we had everything we needed. The onsite restaurants had a nice offering and mobile pick up was super quick and handy. Great pool. Loved the water taxi to Magic Kingdom.

We had a great stay here. The Cast Members were fantastic across the board, from check-in to concierge and food service. The hotel itself has a breathtaking design, and beautiful grounds. The rooms are clean, modern and welcoming. The boat to Magic Kingdom was also a unique and fun start to every day. I also enjoyed the gym facilities, and extra activities around the hotel such as the campfire s'mores and hotel tours (both free)

I just cannot give this place five stars. When you arrive in a car service and no one bothers to help you with your bags, its not a great start to your stay. My travel agent had tried to move me to a better room, but none were available. I stopped at the desk to request an upgrade and noted that I was willing to pay to get a better room if one was available. I was told that I could pay $149 a day to enjoy the club level amenities. As a solo traveler who does not drink alcohol, that made zero sense so I declined. I stopped again to ask about my room and to again request a quiet room and learned that I had been put on the first floor. NO. Just no - not at this price point. I was then moved to the second floor. Oh my. A survey arrived and I used the term mediocre and Warren called almost immediately to learn how he could assist me. So, A for effort, but if you had a better room, when your agent called you from the front desk, why was the answer no until I answered a survey with a less than stellar grade? This reinforces the 'Karen' principle that leads people to complain to be heard and this is not how it should be. Warren said that he would see if he could move me for the following four nights of my stay and would get back to me. He let me know that he had a 5th floor fireworks view room available and I asked if it was quiet as that is VERY important to me. He was not able to tell me the room number, so I stopped at the front desk and repeated the same request about a quiet room and she told me that she could not tell me the room number or show me where it was on a property map, but she showed me a picture of the view from the room. Again, I noted that I would stay where I was if the new room was not as quiet. So, you know what happened here - I was put in 5032 which is DIRECTLY adjacent to the elevator and ice machine. If I had been aware of this, I would have declined the kind upgrade and stayed where I was on the second floor. So, while I want to acknowledge Warren for his efforts here, the lack of transparency about the location of the room left me stuck in a VERY noisy room with a lovely view. I realize that effort was made, but I was clear with three staff members that quiet was the priority and once I had packed back up after the first night and been moved, there was nothing that I could do other than complain so there was no point. The other thing that irritated me was the undisclosed charge to have a small delivery. To contrast, my next stop was the Grand Cypress and despite me being there for free on reward nights, I was put in a third from the top floor end room with a fireworks view and they were FULL. Overall, lovely property and good staff but at this price point, I expected a bit more. I would have understood completely if no better rooms were available - I am not special and NO would have been okay - being moved next to the elevator almost felt like a punishment for speaking up...
