Overall, our stay was very good. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming, creating a great first impression. The rooms were comfortable, though we did notice a questionable stain on the sheets on our last day (towards the bottom). The ice dispenser on our floor was out of service for the entire three days we stayed, which meant having to go to the 3rd floor for ice. While not a huge inconvenience, it wasn’t ideal.
We didn’t request housekeeping service during our stay, but the housekeeping staff was so friendly and hospitable. Whenever we needed anything and saw them in the hall, they were quick to help and made us feel as though we were guests in their own home. The hotel was especially beautiful during the Christmas season, adding a festive charm to our visit.

The resort itself was beautiful and cozy, filled with holiday decor with warm lights, fireplace, couches and chairs, wonderful outside walking areas. However the food from Roaring Fork was cold and hard to eat into (the cornbread and bakery items). Also it is a lot of the same food, we actually went out of our way to grab a different kind of meal away from the resort.
The worst part was the room, I checked in online and they said our room was ready at 1pm. So did not actually get to the room until midnight and we walked into a dirty room that they forgot to clean apparently. We go all the way back down to the lobby and they switched us rooms, but it wasn’t anything spectacular. I wouldn’t say the view was worth the price as the resort views were covered by trees and all you could see were laundry services out the window. The bed just had sheets, and a mattress cover but no actual fitted sheet over the cover or anything. It was a cozy hotel but unsure if I would spend all this money to stay here again.

This is, hands down, the best resort on property in me and my families opinion! The location is amazing, you can bus to any park but you have a boat option to Magic Kingdom! The firework view rooms are INSANELY AMAZING! the lobby is the most beautiful hotel lobby I’ve ever seen, it’s big and gorgeous. The rooms and spacious, very cute and unlike the value and moderate resorts, you can’t hear your neighbors which is fantastic. I love a good Disney value and moderate resort but hearing the neighbors flush the toilets and talk to each other gets really old quickly. Typically we do our long stays at Wilderness Lodge and short stays at the value or moderate resorts.
The food here is incredible, every restaurant is great including the quick service dining. Even the quick service dining (Roaring Fork) has tables and they’ll bring your food out to you nicely plated. Highly recommend their Pulled Pork Sandwich, Crispy Grilled Cheese and the BBQ platter! Geyser Point is the pool bar restaurant and it’s amazing! Best crispy wings on property in my opinion and they have a really cute and tasty campfire mousse dessert! The pool area and kids water play area is awesome! Our son is absolutely bonkers for the Wilderness Lodge pool and kids water play area, he would happily spend all day there. They have two pools and both are great. They play the music for the fireworks at night too which is really nice! Overall, just highly highly recommend! We’ve stayed well over a handful of times now and every single time has been amazing and unique.

**Disney's Wilderness Lodge - 2.5/5**
While Disney's Wilderness Lodge has its charms, our experience was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the quiet ambiance in our room was a pleasant surprise, offering a peaceful retreat after long days at the parks. The Boulder Creek Pool was also a highlight, providing a relaxing space with a beautiful setting.
However, there were some significant drawbacks. We encountered issues with the hot water, which was inconsistent at best—a surprising inconvenience given the resort's price point. The boat transportation, while scenic, often involved long wait times, which became frustrating when trying to stick to a schedule. Additionally, the overall decor and amenities felt a bit dated, especially compared to other Disney resorts in the same price range.
For the cost, we expected a more polished experience. While the resort has potential, these shortcomings made it difficult to fully enjoy our stay.

We had a long debate about upgrading to a deluxe property and could not have been more happy with the Wilderness Lodge. The amenities were noticably better and we found transit to and from much less crowded. It was the hotel part of our trip enjoyable compared to a place to sleep.
