Stayed here for 5 nights and we loved it!! Things we loved: —French and seafood restaurants were 11/10. Insanely good quality!!! —pool and beach were nice, wish there were more chairs but I think this is how it goes at these places —room service food was AMAZING and so fresh —rooms were so big, loved the outdoor jacuzzi on the balcony —staff were so friendly and welcoming! Things we didn’t love: —buffet food wasn’t great. Tasted like it was left to sit out all day —sometimes there were long waits at the restaurants. Not all of them were open every day so having them all open would prob solve this problem —our last day it rained and they cancelled the fire show but didn’t have any activities in place of it. Would be nice if they had more programming going on in the evening hours

I am from Canada and I came for my daughter's wedding. This hotel Bragg's about having 2 weddings a day. One would think they knew what they were doing. They lost 1 star when the rehearsal dinner had us sitting at 3 different tables. One table was eating and another hadn't received drinks yet They lost 1 star when we had to pay 20 US extra per person ( even though they were staying at the same hotel) for the rehearsal dinner. They lost 1 star when the wedding dinner itinerary that was emailed, stating we had the room til 10 pm. But at 9 pm we had to leave....with the threat of the cartel. Never will I return to this hotel or any of its representatives. One positive is that housekeeping was great.

This is our 6th visit to Dreams Playa Mujeres! We love this resort! It’s great for couples and families. More partying goes on next door at Secrets Playa Mujeres. Adults can go back and forth between the two resorts for dining and entertainment! Both are fantastic! All the pools at Dreams are heated now. These two resorts are in a park like setting on the beautiful beach!

This is a good place to go with children. Being used to adult-only resort I wouldn't really recommend it other than traveling with kids or family travel. Is it in the lower range of what to expect of a 5 star in Cancun. Food was just ok.... well it was not that good actually. The room was nice but its an old hotel so the smell of mold was present. We took the preferred king suite - sea front But the sea was very far. It did not feel at all like a sea fromt. The place was quite noisy. Lound music is to be expected until 11. Plus we got an alarm clock waking us up early morning which, even disconnected would wake us up early morning. The preferred cabanas were great. No sea view but very comfortable. Overall ok. Location and beach were great. I wouldn't really recommend it.

The room had mold and smelled like a dirty sock I am a mold contractor and had a stuffy nose every night When I found the mold and cleaned it I did not have any more stuffy nose. The smell of dirty sock went away with air conditioner on. Front desk did assist with cleaner and offered me a dehumidifier but did not need it after cleaning. The maids and maintenance people are not trained to look for mold but they work very hard and do a great job. The sea food restaurant was closed a couple of days then the Asian restaurant was closed the night before we left. The show room was closed for painting. There is only 1 bar that is open with live entertainment every night. Otherwise there is not anything to do. The lazy river can only be used by preferred guests. The lazy river is very small. The French restaurant has a dress code for men which is you have to have trousers or long paints. The pools are great the beach is real nice we did have a nice relaxing vacation. Every employee went out of there way.to help. The restaurants were good but we really enjoyed the cafe with the buffet. Again service was great there I had a waiter whose name is Julio was great. If he saw us walking in he would get us what we liked before we would have to ask. Another time the buffet ran out of pork ribs and he went back I guess to check with the chief and brought the ribs to me when they were ready I checked Google really ChatGpt how much the staff gets paid there and they make roughly $20 a day. Tip them they deserve better Overall, we would not go back but strictly because of entertainment nothing to do at night. One bar does not cut it or even two they do have another bar for the preferred, but I don’t believe that has any live entertainment either.
