Do not book here unless a) you like to line up for dinner at 5:30pm every day or b) you like to wait 1-2 hours to get into one of the restaurants because there is no reservation system. For context, we are a party of 3.
Please also note that if you book the upgraded preferred club ocean view room it’s likely to come with a construction view (photo from our room attached). Other than that the resort is beautiful, staff friendly for the most part. Pools say they are heated but they are not.

Check-in was quick however, they didn’t give you much information about the resort, different options, and etc. they show you to your room and let you figure it out.
Our room was the biggest disappointment. It was very humid and moist when we got there. The AC unit wasn’t very cold, making it uncomfortable to stay in. The worst part was that the entire room, including the bedding, wreaked of mold/mildew. It was extremely hard to sleep in.
The food options were just ok. Best restaurant was Fusion. Drinks are too sweet or watered down.
The beach was empty due to the amount of seaweed and choppy water. Not enjoyable, at least not this season. The pools were my favorite, yet the service lacked greatly. They need to have more servers in the pool area. Most times I had to walk to the bar myself.
Overall, I don’t believe the hotel lived up to its hype or name. Compared to Excellence and Beloved, this hotel just didn’t compare. I thought this hotel would’ve blew Secrets out the water but not so much. For a newer hotel it could be so much better.

I really want to write a 5 star review (great service, staff, and kids club) and I really want to write a 1 star review (disturbing wedding parties every night). I thus feel that 3 is appropriate. The reason for the 1 star review is the sheer annoyance of the nightly weddings that were extremely disturbing. I wish I were making this up. We stayed over Thanksgiving week and there were two weddings per evening with typical reception going to 10 or 11pm. These were generally large outdoor parties that were disturbing to the entire property. We had even changed rooms (a planned change to an upgraded suite) that was not courtyard facing and the music was still extremely stressful and raucous. A few of the parties were much more disturbing than others, but loud music of which you can hear lyrics from a hundred yards away that is shaking walls and occurring EVERY night until 10-11pm is really not acceptable. It was very unrelaxing and stressful. The staff couldn’t/wouldn’t do anything about it. I want to make clear: this is a systems issue. They should not allow outdoor parties to go so late and disturb the entire property. Buyer beware, families with young kids beware. That said, the staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and the service was great. Beach was nice. Food was good. No complaints at all with service or staff, just with the late night party situation. Kid’s club was great—our kids typically get disappointed when we drop them off at kids clubs, but for the most part they were excited to go to this one and were often sad when we picked them up wanting to stay longer. Unfortunately I would not stay here again because of the loud nightly music and parties.

We have had an amazing time on our baby moon! The grounds are beautiful and the staff is always smiling and accommodating. The entertainment team has been great, especially Gabriel, he’s an awesome guy with great energy and passion! The only thing we would add is more activities for active folks on site and better mock-tail options for pregnant women! Don’t miss the French restaurant and hopefully you get Alan/Adan as your waiter, another super nice guy!! Alex also crushes it by the pool, he’ll bring you anything you may need! This resort is great for families.
We really enjoyed the pools and teen center. The staff was amazing!
However the rooms, restaurants and beach area wasn't my favorite. We had to be moved to 2 different rooms due to leaking tiles and room damage. The beach was dirty and the cabanas were in the bushes and smelled like urine. The restaurants were just "okay", I did enjoy Fusion and Maris. The worst part of this resort is the amount of weddings every single day! Loud music and bright lights make is extremely hard to relax.
Overall are family trip was good but for the money this resort could use a lot updates.
