Wow, we had the most incredible stay here! We stayed in the waterfront villa, which was absolutely stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and the bathroom was exceptional. Our room was always impeccably clean thanks to the amazing housekeeping team. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The food at each restaurant was exemplary—consistently delicious and beautifully presented. This place will forever hold a special place in our hearts, as we got engaged here. The staff went above and beyond to make the moment unforgettable, showering us with congratulations and plenty of champagne. Thank you for making this such a magical experience. We will 100% return and recommend this incredible place to everyone we know!

The island itself is beautiful and the overwater villas are generous and very stylishly furnished - especially the bathroom and terrace are very special (we were watching little fish and sharks every night from the net thingy). But what truly knocked our socks off was the quality of service. All the staff went out of their way to make our vacation memorable and we felt truly pampered. We were warmly greeted at the airport and upon our departure seen off at the airport entrance. We were even given a complimentary early check-in + breakfast after we’d arrived and late check-out, so basically one more day at our amazing villa! Ahmed and other staff members were constantly checking that we had everything we needed and were always so friendly and welcoming. As we are a vegetarian & vegan couple, the chefs at all the restaurants made sure to check in with us prior to every meal and prepared some of the best meals we’d ever had! It was unbelievable, plus the places looked stunning. The spa experience and massage with Ros was a cherry on top. Also used the gym and the tennis court regularly - the staff there made sure we had fresh towels and water at all times. We also had to visit the clinic and were assisted by the doctor - all part of the resort service. Just cannot recommend this place enough!

We will forever cherish our stay at Dusit D2 Maldives. Not only because of the fantastic facilities, and the mind-blowing views, which we will miss dearly, but mainly because of its fantastic staff. We would love to thank them all for their kindness and warmth. (Please accept our apologies for not having all the names here!) Special thanks to the staff from Midi, Baraveli (Ishaaq, Sakshar, Latheef, Raaif, and all the chefs and waiting staff), Cocoon (Kripa and Sekar), and all the lovely ladies from Soi (that pomelo salad will not be forgotten!). Bō was definitely a highlight, and the attention to detail and beauty of the menu is something worth trying, together with the fantastic pairing recommendations from Saeed. Our heartfelt gratitude to the room service staff (Rizu and Solah) for their attention to detail, and for going the extra mile with their artistic creations. The same goes for Sharvan, Ibrahim, and the rest of buggy drivers. Finally, we would really recommend attending the yoga classes with Ansuman, someone who really conveys the beauty of the yogic tradition, while respecting the possibilities of each participant. The mantras, the pranayama and gong therapy portions of the session were truly powerful and I will always cherish these classes. Thanks, Ansuman, for sharing your wisdom so generously. We truly hope to be back, and have the opportunity to learn more about the Maldives while enjoying in a property that promises to be a must for everyone seeking an unforgettable experience. I stayed at Dusit D2 Maldives for 3 nights with my family. The resort officially opened on July 27, 2025 and everything felt fresh, clean, and beautifully maintained. We stayed in a beach villa with a private pool, and one of our villas was kindly upgraded to an overwater villa, which was a wonderful surprise. The resort follows an all-inclusive system, and provides complimentary speedboat transfers to and from Velana International Airport , which is only 8–10 minutes away — very convenient and smooth. Additionally, each guest receives $20 per day to use at any of the resort’s facilities or services, which was a great bonus. The buggy drivers were always friendly and helpful, and the entire staff was welcoming and attentive. I would especially like to thank Ishaq, the manager of baraveli Restaurant, for his exceptional hospitality and genuine care throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing and luxurious island experience!
