Truly the world class resort. Amazing location and views. Great beaches. Astonishing service from friendly personnel. Great value for the money. Above and beyond resort. We truly appreciated staying here. Sincere recommendation!
Waitress Elena from the breakfasts and Italian restaurant brightened our vacation with her beautiful smile!)
Please consider replacing refrigerators in the rooms with the modern ones.

Don’t stay here, you’ll regret it. Very poorly run hotel. A few good points but they’re far out weighed by the price paid and the expectations of a world leading hotel. A tag that should be swiftly removed as it’s a false claim. Never a 5* hotel, maybe 2* at best. Rooms very dated, not been touched since the 70’s. A few good staff, most of the others are pretenders and false. Uncomfortable beds, rooms not cleaned properly. Overpriced drinks and food, restaurants are ok. Definitely go into the towns and save a fortune and get better service. Breakfast is chaos, beware they only reserve tables for their favourite guests. You’ll be lucky to get a spoon with your tea and coffee. Rooms dated and fridges etc broken. They’ll also happily give your airport transfer to another guest with a similar name and not bother to help or apologise. All in all, one to avoid, a shame because it could be as special as it claims if it was run better. The owners should look to change management immediately, clueless. They’ll also happily let conferences take over and push paying guests aside.

We have just returned from our latest stay at Elounda Beach Hotel and Villas. The whole experience continues to be 5*. Everything about the resort is perfect and we will certainly be returning in the future. Our excellent accommodation was well maintained by Housekeeping on a twice daily basis, the extensive grounds are beautifully maintained, the private beach and pool with their loungers are impressive, the restaurants and bars are a delight but above all every single member of staff throughout the site is helpful, friendly, professional and a great credit to the to the Hotel.
As in the past, we stayed in a villa overlooking the beach and the sea, near to the main hotel building, and on a half board basis, which represents great value for money against menu individual prices - a perfect combination for us which ensures seamless enjoyment of all the facilities. As regular visitors we used the Guest Loyalty arrangements for our booking – and enjoyed the benefits that brings - and a big thank you goes to Lia Prentza, the Guest Loyalty Manager and her colleague Vassia for ensuring our stay was perfect. The same has to be said about the Reception staff who are only too happy to offer help and advice including making restaurant bookings – and always with a smile on their faces.
As with any quality hotel or resort, you would expect to make bookings in advance for the restaurants and that is easily achieved through Reception. We visited each of the four restaurants on more than one occasion during our stay and found them to have great menus, lovely staff and excellent food. Yes, you do have to pay for all drinks, but these do not have to be ridiculously expensive, and you can always take advice from the charming sommelier who is on hand, about choices as far as wine is concerned . The extensive, high quality breakfast buffet arrangements are equally good. The hotel was very busy during our stay and thus lots of visitors were in the breakfast area each morning, but by simply waiting to be seated by the staff, we had no problems in being shown to a table without delay and enjoying the delightful food.
So, all in all, a very good stay in an excellent 5* resort and we will return in 2025

We've been going to Elounda Beach Hotel for over 10 years. It's the most special place for us. Great location, amazing private beach, the rooms are fabulous, restaurants are great, a very special bar called Veghera, all the watersports you might need. But it's the people who work at Elounda Beach Hotel that is the reason we return every year. Difficult to put into words really just how special they are. We're not alone in returning year after year. Some having been back 20+ years. We also see them every year.

We had a 10 night stay in early September at the Elounda beach hotel & Villas. The hotel's location is lovely, surrounded by mountains, ideal for visiting Agios Nikolaos and Elounda. Would recommend a lift on golf buggy to sister hotel, then walk by waters edge to tavernas and restaurants in Elounda. We were greeted on arrival and taken to our room. The staff were lovely and big shout out to pool guys who looked after us. We went bed and breakfast, the downside are the prices in the hotel. We were invited to Greek night which was 100 euros each which we declined. We also didn't eat in the hotel restaurants due to crazy prices, 40 plus euro for a main, 30 plus for starter, 12 euro for glass wine!! Had one lunch at the beach bar, which was 60 euro for 2, shared a Greek salad, ham toastie and 2 x iced coffees. Room service beware, 20 euro for a pizza plus 15 euro for bringing it to our room. Also for a five star hotel there was no evening entertainment. It was difficult
to navigate such a large complex with no detailed maps (only a photo of the site). I would recommend staying there but suggest you eat out as there are loads of lovely local restaurants near by. Overall a great hotel, spoilt by unreasonable prices. If you have the money, go for it!! Lovely holiday though. Thank you.
