Great hotel- food was good, view was awesome from the front and back of the hotel, very clean and highly maintained property. Access to everything was smooth. Check in and check out was easy. Staff are very polite and sweet. When you ask for help, they really try to help. Spa was great but little expensive.
Minor issues- the entertainments within the property could be more fun but it was a little slow and boring. Every night the shows and songs were more focused on Jamaican culture. So we were not familiar with the songs or shows.
The options for meat in the buffet could more. It was only one or 2 meat dish.

Avoid this resort until the problems are fixed! I thought the pictures other recent reviewers posted about the water leakage were mine. The dining situation is just as bad. My family stayed 4 days, and we ate every meal at the same buffet. You can not get a reservation at any restaurants requiring reservation. As soon as I checked in, I tried to make reservations. Nope. All full and can only book a day ahead. Next morning at 7AM when the booking opened, it was already full for the following day. This happened to everyone I spoke with. I tried to meet a manager, and I was told to come back at certain time. And when I did, I was told to come back again, again, until I gave up. Last night after I finished the dinner, a manager showed and said he could've booked us the reservations if we met earlier. Seriously? It would've been better if he never showed. The night we got back home, my daughter broke out with rash. The pediatrician diagnosed her with bacterial infection from dirty hot tub. I called Hilton to let them know. The representative took notes, and said I will hear from a supervisor within 48 hours. I never heard back.

A perfectly serviceable but generally unexciting resort hotel, catering primarily to families from North America. More a 3 star plus than a 4 star. As other reviewers have commented, it really needs a major refurbishment (not much appears to have been done since it was built 40 years ago), especially bathrooms, and though some of the common area roof leaks when it rains, there's a team working (very slowly) on fixing that, meanwhile none of the leaks have any effect on guests. The food is average. It's easy to book the service restaurants using the app as long as one remembers to do it soon after 8am the day before, but one goes for a better ambience and having table service – the food itself is no better, and arguably not as good as the main buffet restaurant. The main bar is a disgrace, on an outside terrace with uncomfortable and shoddy metal furniture, probably deliberate to dissuade one staying and asking for a second drink. Staff are almost all charming and helpful (shout out to Dennis at the front desk who resolved our only issue quickly and effectively), the only exception being the Rum Factory duty manager who was far from welcoming and appeared to preside over a chaos of uncleared tables.
One can walk across the golf course in 15 minutes to the Rose Hall shops – but just for the outing, as it's all touristy stuff. Nice bar though. Another 10 minutes uphill walk gets you to Rose Hall itself, one of the scarce tourist attractions in the area and worth an hour or so of your time. Getting to Mo'bay itself, if you don't want to pay inflated hotel taxi prices, is easy – just walk out on the main road and hail a passing Route (shared) taxi. People will tell you it's risky, but we thought it was not only cheap but fine and fun, if crushed. Maybe not at night, though.
Four stars for what it is.

I am extremely disappointed with this resort after reading the reviews. For this being a Hilton property and the high reviews we were excited to stay. Unfortunately this is the worst all inclusive resort we have ever been to. There is an extreme lack of top shelf liquor and out of ingredients needed to make standard drinks. They seem to struggle with food choices as well, they were out of several items at each restaurant we went to during our stay. The staff id say 50% friendly and the other 50% rude. The property itself has had moderate renovations, still very outdated. Our room in particular did not have great ac, and no ceiling fan. It was unpleasantly hot in the room. While speaking to another guest she informed me her room was much cooler on the opposite side of the resort as well as the room was updated much more. The ballroom was a complete mess, not that any activities took place in there but every time it rained you could see all the rain coming through the walls, there were towels throughout the resort to collect all the puddles of water from the rain.
The entertainment was mediocre at best. Every time we went to the lobby I saw people complaining about different issues. For this being a Hilton brand we are extremely disappointed, we have stayed at many all inclusive hotels and to rate this the worst says a lot. We spoke to the manager and executive chef about the issues we experienced since we arrived here. We were told the lack of food and alcohol falls on the executive chef which is why he was bought out to speak to us. When trying to order vegetable pizza one day at one of the restaurants the worker was extremely rude when I asked if she could make one. She adamantly refused and said they are not allowed to. I found this very unbelievable as we were told they shave made the pizza as requested. We continued to experience the lack luster food and beverage choices. The drinks are very watered down or sweet.
I can say the jerk chicken shack is delicious if you make it before they run out! The coffee shop is very good as well. Most of the food is very hit or miss. We received most of our food cold or barely warm. We spoke to several guests and many expressed concern about the resort. I’d definitely recommend you to pass on this resort, we are extremely disappointed to be here for our anniversary as we had higher expectations.

Fantastic staff and experiences! The grounds are so well kept, and it’s an amazing place for families. Highly recommend! Rooms were clean and VERY well kept up with house keeping. Exceeded expectations. Food was just fine for an all inclusive!
